HELLO!!!

We will be sailing with my husband's family and have been waiting for 2013 booking to open since the Fantasy's MV was moved and we had to cancel. Looking forward to meeting the other DISers joining this cruise!

HELLO!!!

We will see you onboard! My wife, myself, our (at the time of the cruise) 12-year old daughter and 6-year old son will be there! Should be a fun time. Kids just out of school. Let the summer begin!

We'll be pulling the kids out of their schools, but both myself and my SIL are in graduate school and so we had a very small window between the end of spring semester for us and the inflated June prices. She will have just graduated, so there will be much celebrating!

It will be:
Me, DH, DD
SIL, BIL, their 2 kids
MIL, FIL

Our TA managed to get us three rooms right in a row, two of them connecting. I'm so excited for the 2013 trip I keep forgetting that I get to board the Wonder this April, LOL.

We are trying to get some of our friends and family to join us on the cruise as well. We ended up with the May date as our kids are out of school the Friday before Memorial Day & also because one of my friends at work scheduled the same cruise (his daughter is the same age as ours). Since we booked, I have emailed several additional friends and family members and am hoping for the best.

P.S. Do you think someone will organize a Fish Exchange?

Wow, people (nonDisney) look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them I've booked a Disney cruise for Summer of 2013!! We have lots of great trips planned before this one, but this will be special because it will be the first 7 day cruise for my children. It won't be for my DH and I as we are sailing on the Carnival Dream next summer for our anniversary.

This will be our third Disney cruise. We have been on the Wonder and Dream. Nothing beats a Disney cruise!!

As of right now, it will be myself, DH, our daughter who will be 15 (OMG!!) and our other daughter who will be 8, almost 9.

Then I've booked for our son who will be graduating from Engineering and a friend for him. He will be 24.

Count us in too! I happened to be on the DIS at 8 AM the day they opened bookings and practically freaked as I had been waiting and watching, so I was booked within 5 minutes :rotfl2:

It'll be me, DH and DS who will be 3 1/2 when we sail.

Let the countdown begin :woohoo:

We also have moved a dummy date to this cruise. I am not sure if we will keep it though. We are going on the Fantasy this spring; the 2012 Memorial Day cruise to the same ports. If we love it, we will see you there.

Just booked this cruise. Looking forward to Costa Maya. Does anyone know about this port through DCL?
I've booked an inside room this time, just to see if the virtual portholes can compare with a "real" porthole.

I was looking into the Costa Maya ones also. The have lots of snorkeling, scuba and beach stuff of course but they have quite a few jeep and ATV excursions too. There are also a few Maya ruins ones that look very interesting. We will be there 7 hrs so not a lot of time to do more than 1 thing I would think.:confused3 I don't know if there is any part of town close by the port to check out? They usually have some stores with stuff to buy at every port to get as much of our money as possible.:rotfl2:

Yes, it would appear that there is not that much time available for a very elaborate excursion. I do know there is some level of port infrastructure with stores at the port. Of course, with our cruise over 500 days away, I am sure the port will become more elaborate than it is now. If there are tourists with money to spend, more stores will follow.

Thanks Lauraloonyfordisney, for the list of possible excursions. Where did you find them listed?
And yes, 7 hours seems a bit too short to have any substantial experiences.

The Chacchoben Tour (Adults only, YESSSSSSSSS!) is for me. Will be ready at the earliest day to book it.
Thanks, Laura!

WOO HOO!! Just put the deposit down and booked this cruise for the Mrs. and I! It will be our 5 year wedding anniversary / 10 years of being together.

But SHHHH she has no idea. Would probably even think I'm crazy for planning this far out for it.

This will be our 3rd cruise. Was on the christening cruise for the Dream last January, and a Mexican Riviera cruise on the Wonder in November. Both were amazing! Excited to be on the new Fantasy and get back to Castaway Cay, one of my favorite places!
