So I was reading about the $99 so cal deal on Disneyparks blog and came across something weird that I am curious about.

I have an AP, but a friend is thinking of coming who would need a 3-day park hopper. I saw they were having a deal, but then it's crossed out and if you click on the link, it says the page does not exist. The line that is bold below is the line that was crossed out. Anyone have any insight? Will this deal be available, but just not yet?

"If you don’t live in Southern California, we recently shared news of a special ticket for you. You can purchase the 3-day park-hopper ticket for $169. The 3-day ticket is available online at Disneyland.com/3days, or by calling 866-59-DISNEY. You can purchase the 3-day tickets from now through April 14, 2011, and you must purchase them before leaving home as this offer is not available at the ticket booths. Tickets must be used within 13 days of the first day of use and the first day of use must be no later than April 14, 2011."

Yes that must have been for the previous promotion, for if memory is serving me correctly, that was the cost for my trip last April. So I figure that you had come across a page that had not been updated yet. Still though, $199 for a 3 day park hopper is very good. But..... if your friend is able to visit for just a few days longer, or later within the year, then an AP would be great. And if she lives in Ca. she can even pay for it on time. :)

~~ I love you Phil, and you will forever be with me! Forever my very best and most special friend! I love you to no end. ~~

April, 2011 . . . last year! :)

This is a bit off-topic, but perhaps works in this thread: if you buy a ticket online, do you just get a printed piece of paper, or do you get one of the actual cardstock tickets mailed to you?

You CAN choose to have tickets mailed to you, but there is an additional charge. It is FREE to print them at home. If you print at home, you take the print-out directly to the turnstiles like you would any other ticket and they'll trade you on the spot for a card that you'll use to get FP's. it's really the best way to go.

That was a good catch! It's weird that it was on the update for the so cal deal announcement. But I suppose if they had that same promo last year, they might have just copied the information. Thanks all!

$199 is still good, so he's gonna go with that. He won't go enough to make the cost of the AP worth it.

I don't know what was up before, but there is a $99 two day, one park per day ticket here:

http://disneyland.disney.go.com/special-offers/southern-california/2012-spring-2-day-ticket/

Here is what it says,

"Enjoy the magic of 2 days at Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park — or one day at each park — at a spectacular rate!

Pick Your Park!

Southern California residents can purchase a 2-Day 1-Park per Day Disneyland Resort ticket for just $99 and pick one park to visit each day. Enjoy the flexibility of visiting on 2 different days between now and June 9, 2012. These tickets can be purchased only until June 1, 2012.

Add a Day and See All That Is New

With both all-new and classic attractions and entertainment, it can take several days to see everything at the Disneyland Resort. Now, for just $30 more, you can add a day when you upgrade to a 3-Day 1-Park per Day ticket. 1-Park per Day tickets can be upgraded to Park Hopper tickets for just $15 more.

This offer is only available for a limited time!"

We should try to let this thread die, as it refers to something a year old and long gone.
