Shannon, I'm with you...the Boo to You Parade is one of my all-time favorites. Yes, I have first time experience with that long line for the Dwarfs.

I think if it were up to Tim we would have waited...he did last year during the Christmas party, the picture was really cute, but alas I am impatient

Glad you found a good parade spot! The music in the parade is so catchy! I sing it like the whole month of October.. "boo to you and boo to you..." I could keep going!!

I didn't get to ride on the front seat on Space this time, but I did get the back seat. Either one is great to me!

Splash has always been my all time favorite, but getting that wet wasn't very fun

I agree, I like Splash Mtn, but I always sit in the back because I hate getting wet.

Happy to see you both enjoyed the parade. The music is very catchy! I love how the Headless Horseman comes out so much earlier than the rest of the parade.

The Headless Horseman was SO cool, I am so impressed how they do that!!

Nice job hitting the mountain trifecta! Always nice when the lines allow you to do that. Even if you end up just slightly wetter than you expected.

We decided after this trip during Halloween and Christmas time the only way to tour MK without lines is a party...too bad its an extra ticket!!

Back to the parade...we were dancing along to "Boo to you" enjoying the different floats...we loved the Hauned Mansion ghosts and villains

Just as Goofy's candy truck was coming from off stage (what I believe is the last float)...the parade well...just stopped abruptly

We kept hearing the same music loop over and over again...then we noticed villains from several floats gone by were walking back towards us, waving and heading off stage. As well there were non costumed cast members heading on stage down the parade route past us

The non costumed cast members tried to distract the crowd with clapping and singing to the music...but there was obviously something unusual happening!

Without any true ending to the parade...the floats were moved back off stage and cast members informed us the parade was over. We later found out the brakes had gone out on one of the floats and some costumed cast members had to jump off their float and walk back past us (hence the villains coming past us) This is the first time either of us have ever heard of something like this happening during a parade...it was really random!!

Since we pretty much saw 99% of the parade we did not return to the see the second parade later in the evening...we still really enjoyed it as well!!

Once all that excitement was over we headed over (still soaked) to Pirates!!!

After our fun ride visiting pirates...we headed to the hub area to check out the Villain's Mix and Mingle show...we ended up getting a spot very close to the stage. It was a good spot, plus we were first in line to meet one of the villains!!

The show was honestly one of our favorite stage shows...the music was so catchy we were both sort of dancing along to it...it was very cool!! After the show the villains come down very briefly to do a meet and greet..I snapped some shots

Which villain did we happen to meet from the show?!?

I have always wanted to do the villian show and we always missed it. I wish we had done it at least once out of our two visits. Can't wait to hear which villian you get to meet.

It was fun to see all the different villians since they aren't out in the parks as much as all the other characters

Oh no, nothing bad like that!! I don't think any damage or injuries occured...just a long pause in the parade

Rides like Big Thunder are so fun at night! I think it's because it's harder to see the tracks and everything; though I love that they light up the fossil, etc.

How neat to get so close to the stage. I hope you met Facilier, he's my favorite of the ones that were available to meet (also, no weird mask).

So we were first in line to meet….

I loved Dr. Facilier in person!! We had watched Princess and the Frog during one of our theme nights and both loved it He was larger than life in person and I am so glad we were able to meet him!!

We didn’t have time to get in line and meet any of the other villains from the show…but since we were already in the hub area we found some more awesome characters to meet.

I LOVED Gaston he was so funny, when Tim said it was great to meet him, he replied “The pleasure is all yours”
Since Beauty and the Beast is my favorite princess movie this was one of my favorites to meet

We started to wait in line for another set of characters when they had to leave for a break. Since we were already in a great spot we stayed there to watch HalloWishes. I didn’t take any firework pictures, because I promised this year I would just take in the moments and also our camera does not take great night time or fireworks pictures. I really enjoyed this version of the fireworks and the music

Right after the fireworks ended some of Tim’s favorite gals showed back up...someone walked through our picture and Lady Tremaine yelled out "No, no don't worry we aren't taking pictures here"

After we had met our share of villains we returned to Tomorrowland...we didn't go in this attraction...but I made Tim stop for a picture just because of our shirts

We made it on Buzz after waiting a while, something was wrong with some of the vehicles and they had to cycle the ride a few times...luckily our ride went smoothly and we were very into it obviously...

This poor ride...I tried to convince Tim it was awesome but it could seriously use a rehab on the ride vehicles especially

We rode Space Mountain again...the CM was the same one from earlier and was excited to see our shirts again...he made us feel special...Tim got to ride in the front this time and loved it After we left that ride we stumbled into a dance party with Stitch and Chip and Dale...we danced with them and had a great time

At this point we were both exhausted from the long day and running around the party...we saw that Tiana was out with Naveen and I just stared for a few minutes before Tim realized I was just out of it and staring off into space

We took a few more pictures on our way out and headed back to POP and I had to show off all the border options

At some point we decided to check out some of the empty candy lines during the night...I just remembered when Tim reminded me to add that in, plus you can see Tim was carrying around a bag with candy for us There were tons of great candy options...I have read some complaints in the boards about the candy...but there were name brands and they gave us plenty even though we were adults alone. On our way out for the night they give you more candy


I know it was busy in the bus area...but didn't take us too long to get back to the resort and we fell asleep right away

Oh man, I know what it's like to reach the end of the day and be so tired you're just completely spacing out. It sounds like you guys had a really great day though.

I love the fact that the villains are out during MNSSHP. You never get to meet them normally. I think they should rectify that situation.
