Checked in to OKW today

We arrived by car a little after two. Our room was ready. Yay! Check in went quickly and efficiently. We are in building 34 which meets my requests. The room is in great shape, very clean. The only thing we're missing is a cutting board, and I can deal! DD and DGC arrive tomorrow morning from Indy. Looks like a great week weather-wise. Let the fun begin!

Thanks, Doc! I saw your thread. Your view looks wonderful. I think we may be in 25 in a GV in September since I booked HH. We will enjoy that view!

It's a good location for all the action though! Have a great trip! we went for a premium Mickey bar (oh and two gold margaritas) last night and there was a lot of " fun " being had there!

We went to the MK today. Touring Plans predicted a 1. I'd say they were close.

There is some balcony decorating here. I don't mind it and had a hard time leaving the lights at home, but I did. We have a smoker somewhere around us - an interior smoker it seems. We called. That's about all we can do, I guess.

One more day in the low 80s is predicted, then we drop to the low 70s. Beats Indiana right now. Don't know what we will do tomorrow exactly. With two kiddos under 3, you sort of have to go with the flow - read "mood"! That's OK. Hope everyone else here now is having a lovely time.

I'm officially wishing I was at OKW this trip. I'm not loving my HA accessible kitchen at Kidani. It's just so inconvenient (and even unsafe) for able bodied people of normal height to use. I nearly burned my arm trying to take the pan out of the oven last night. I have to actually sit on my knees on the floor to get pans out.

I read your thread about the situation with your room. That's too bad. Kidani can be such a nice place to stay. We've stayed twice in a one bedroom and had really good experiences both times. I like OKW better, too, though. Hope the other aspects of your trip continue to go well. Enjoy the member get together.
