Quick service at OKW

We will be staying in a 1BR at OKW for the first time this Christmas. What type of counter service options are there at this resort? Really just looking for a place to fill our mugs with coffee or hot chocolate in the morning and to grab a quick breakfast.

Also does anyone know if they have the new coffee makers at OKW yet?

Goods to Go is the counter service place. It's near the Gurgling Suitcase and is the pool side snack bar.

New coffee makers? The ones they have work well...

We'll be there for Christmas this year too.

Refillable mugs at OKW aren't all that great of a deal. You can only get refills from Goods to Go which is not open all hours and maybe the Turtle Shack which is open seasonally. Why not just buy hot chocolate and coffee and keep it in your villa and fill your cup as you like.

Goods to Go is the pool counter service - limiited offerings. Not anything like a food court. Again, you are better off having your own breakfast food in your villa and eating there if you don't want table service. Olivia's is great for breakfast, but it isn't counter service.

What new coffee makers? Have you heard that some are being installed or you just hoping they will be changing to a Keurig?

I heard that some DVC resorts were getting something like a Keurig. Like a single serve coffee maker.

We'll be there this Christmas too (12/20-26). Can't wait. This will be our 2nd time at OKW. We just make coffee and tea in our villa every morning. We usually drive and bring groceries (like coffee and breakfast items), but this time we'll be flying. We have a grocery order in with WeGoShop. So, we still won't need to get the refillable mugs.

It can be a pretty long walk to get coffee or food if you are in one of the furthest buildings from the food counter. Much easier to make coffee or hot chocolate and have breakfast items in the room.

I found this on Deb's site.

Hours for Good's Food to Go are 7:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. for breakfast, and 11:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. for lunch and dinner.

I would question whether refillable mugs are that great of a deal at any of the resorts. Now a refillable mug for The Gurgling Suitcase? Count me in!
