New Dues just announced.

I received an email from the company I purchased my resale contract from. It contained the new 2012 dues for DVC. My dues for the AKV went from $5.01 a point to $5.4356. That is about a 9% jump in a year. For my 160 point contract I went from $801.60 to $869.70.

Typically you expect that your dues might go up a little bit, but that is a big jump for one year. Does anyone know the reason or justification for it, or are we just stuck with hey it's Disney prices go up from time to time?

Well..yes ....my annual dues went up another $7.00 per point which in my humble point of view is significant. So yes...I do think a thread is worthy of this discussion. I'm not trying to start a flaming chit chat here....but I can understand a $2 to maybe even $3 increase...but $7??? Seems excessive to me....they must be having discussions with my local cable and garbage collection companies. Thanks for the link! I'll go over there to vent more LOL!!
