Which of the seven DTD resorts would you pick/recommend?

There will be 2 adults and we are not renting a car. Not looking for sit down meals with ADRs...if we try a walk up and get it, that's fine, but I don't want a whole lot of structure with meals. Counter service will be OK...in or out of the World.

Personally I haven't stayed in any but a friend of mine just went in October and they stayed at Best Western Lake Buena Vista. She said it was an older hotel but clean and shuttles were fine.

The Hilton Downtown Disney is a nice hotel too! Great location, nice pool, nice rooms. We didn't use the shuttle because we had a car.

We stayed at Wyndham(Regal Sun) and very disappointed with the hotel,especially the cleaning,we had to complain several times regarding the bathroom.Mould under the basin,around toilet on the floor wasn't cleaned,encrusted dirt and lots of hairs in the plug hole that had been there a while.

The fun director seemed more focused on selling massages to guests than any kid activities ,we saw none.
Only redeeming feature was location and bell stand staff.
So glad we bought into DVC.
