Hi,

I looked up all you can eat lobster places in the Orlando area and I see that they get very mixed reviews. Does anyone have any experience with any of them?

Thanks!

I have been to the one on I Drive, I think it's called Boston Lobster Feast. Has a large lobster on the building.

I won't go back. I found the place dirty and worn out. Lots of children left to run out of control back and forth to the buffet area. I didn't care for the place. Very touristy.

We tried Angels a few years ago and it was bad. Granted my husband is a lobster fisherman in Nova Scotia and we know good lobster and the ones at Angels weren't good. They had been held a long time and were cooked too much: very rubbery and old tasting. The crab legs were too salty and not good either. Didn't like the rest of the buffet items either. :sad2:

Florida is not a lobster state. If you want good lobster go to Maine. If you want good seafood find out where the locals go to for their seafood. Google the best of orlando. Im lookingfor a place that sells fried crab claws myself.

I know people who have gotten sick at both Boston Lobster Feast and Angels.

If you are flexible with your days, Big Fin Seafood has a special on Monday nights.....$13.95 for 1.5 pound whole steamed Maine lobster. Its out of this world! Ive had it on three different Monday's. The rest of the menu is really good too but that would be my suggestion for lobster! Enjoy! :yay:

I'm surprised you guys even attempted it. :) Being a lobster fisherman nothing in Florida would even compare. We were surprised on our cruise one time with "this isn't lobstah". They serve the Caribbean Rock Lobster and not Maine (North Atlantic) lobsters.

I guess curiosity got the better of us  and wanted to see what it was like. Lesson learned. We stick to shrimp when we're in Florida. We can get all the fresh haddock, lobster, tuna , swordfish, scallops, crab we want in Nova Scotia but good shrimp is harder to get especially in restaurants at home. :)

do yourself a favor and if you want seafood in florida go for some Mahi or Striped Bass. fantastic, fresh and oh so yummy.

I have not tried it but I did see that Garden Grove at either Swan or Dolphin has a buffet on Friday night that is Seafood and I believe for an extra $20 you can get unlimited lobster tails. This is a character buffet but not on the meal plan but they do have a restaurant.com coupon.

I was really hoping someone would say how bad Angel's was. It was AWFUL!!! I will admit we are from the Northeast but this lobster wasn't even in the same sport, nevermind ball park. I think they may have been freshwater lobster.

Rock shrimp is to die for too! IMHO :D

My grandad owns a condo in titusville and Dixie Crossroads has really good rock shrimp...i have seen it on some of the Disney menus as i have been looking to my my ADRs for this coming shrimp...so maybe you could find a place that has all you can eat rockshrimp IMO it taste like a cross between shrimp and lobster :)
