Never been to this restaurant. Website lists menu, but not sure how it works. Is this a buffet?? Child appropriate?
Thanks

It is a huge salad bar, with soups, pizza, breads, fruit, dessert and frozen yogurt. We found it to be really good. And, if you go on their website you can get a coupon. Yes...kids are welcome.

When you enter, you go through the salad bar line. You can make your own with the usual expanded salad bar fixin's, and/or take some of the prepared salads on your plate. They usually have 3 or so prepared green salads, plus a half dozen or so pasta, potato, or rice-based salads.

At the end of the salad bar line, you pay your check and find a table. The drink, pasta, pizza (actually focaccia), soup, and dessert stations are in the dining area. I think they also have a baked potato bar, but possibly only at dinner. You're also welcome to go back through the salad bar line as many times as you like.

The staff will clear your dirty dishes, and may offer to refill your drinks. Other than that, it's all self service.

Thanks for the quick replies. Do you pay separate for the other stuff, or is it all included in one fixed price?

Except for drinks it's all included, the actual salad bar,the soups, pizzas, bakery items, baked potatoes, pastas and desserts like ice cream, puddings and fruits, there are a couple extra things you can buy if you want which are found as you pay, things like grilled chicken in cups to add to your salads.

This is a great, cheap, family friendly buffet! With the coupons, a family of 2 adults and 2 children can eat for $19.99 plus the cost of drinks. As a pp mentioned as soon as you walk in, grab a tray and fill a plate with all the salad you can eat! Then you pay, grab a cup if you want drinks and then find your seat. There is plenty of seating for small and large groups. They clear your plates quickly and even walk around with a bowl of warm freshly baked chocolate chip cookies! The soup bar has plenty of different types of soups and chili! The baked potato bar and toppings was fabulous too. There is also pizza and pasta. The dessert bar is simply a frozen soft serve machine with sundae toppings and a few other dessert choices. My girls enjoyed it so much we ate here twice while we were in town!

Here are some photos taken on our first trip there:

Looks like our kind of place. 3 kids are "preteens" and big eaters, so this might become a must for us!! Did sign up for their veg-club, so hopefully save some $$ too!
Thanks again for the info

We always eat there a couple of times while in WDW. It's nice to have so many veggies after a day in the parks. Plus, there's a lot more other than salad as well. We have a chain, Souper Salad, near us and Sweet Tomatoes is much better and has a lot more. selection and fresher whenever we've been there. We have three young kids so it works great for us with some picky eaters. I could see how it would work great for pre-teens/teens as well.

We always make a point to go to Sweet Tomatoes at least once per trip. We are taking DD on a Christmas/16th b-day trip and we told her she could pick her favorite places to eat, no matter the cost. She picked O'hana, any restaurant that serves stone crab and....Sweet Tomatoes "at least twice on this trip". THAT'S how much she likes this place!

Is it just the salad part that is all you can eat?

If so, for the other items (potatoes, pizza, etc) is it a set price for whatever you put on your plate or does it depend on how much you get?

DH and I are not huge salad eaters (with the exception of pasta salads and such) but the rest of the pictures look yummy. Was just wondering :)

I was just browsing their website and noticed the Sunday breakfast - anyone ever done this? Thoughts?

Can't wait to try this place! Not sure which location you're interested in, but according to the website, the LBV site does not serve the Sunday brunch :sad2:

It's all you can eat for everything.

At our local Sweet Tomatoes, the dining room attendants come by with hot chocolate chip cookies.
