i have it open on both safari and google chrome. chrome cannot pull up my ressies, but safari can. i can't make ressies on safari, but can on chrome.

WHAT. IS. THIS.

why is the website always having problems??

I hate to say this, but to do anything properly on a Disney website you need {shudder} Internet Explorer. I have found this to be true even when accessing the internal site (The Hub) from home. The site is so complicated that they only optimize it for IE.

I use firefox, and I was getting frustrated that I couldn't make my +10 ADRs, without getting error messages, so I had to call them to make them all (not easy with my 2.5 yo around)... a few days later I needed to cancel & rebook an ADR that was still in my +10, so I decided to try it using Internet Explorer (which I NEVER use) and it worked great - it really would have saved me from the headache caused by trying to keep my toddler entertained & happy while I talked on the phone if I had known from the beginning :)

I woke up at 5 am (central time) and it was a long wait until I could call at 6, - I had wasted almost the whole hour trying and trying to get them to go through...

I have the same problem! And I am on the site a lot making dining reservations for my clients.

I always use firefox - but for dining, I have to use the dreaded IE.

BUT...when I want to print things, I have to go back to firefox because it won't print from IE.

Craziness!

It's because their programmers fail at internet standards*. And Firefox fails at not being memory hungry for the past few versions.

*(As an aside, the ones in my company do a lot of the time too. IE makes it easy and possible to take shortcuts, shortcuts that don't work right in other browsers. When the programmers get used to these shortcuts, or they are implemented into the core code... stuff like the WDW site not being friendly happens).

(Ok, the 2nd has nothing to do with the WDW site, it's just something that annoys me).

This has more to do with the fact that you use one browser over the other all of the time. IE worked because it wasn't clogged up with the Session and Cookie data that Firefox had been after multiple sessions on the WDW site. This is what drives it to work the exact opposite way for some other people.

Though lately it has been bad with Mozilla based browsers in general :(.

I was just playing around and using internet explorer. We are going in August, and we like signature restaurants that fill up quickly,:confused3, so I played around and tried to make any reservations to a bunch of different places. It just bumped me back to the date I was doing it. Would let me make any, not for one month ahead, or 6 months ahead. Frustrating. Thank god, I was only playing around, if I was really making the reservations, I would be having a heart attack!:rotfl2:
