The plan is:

1 nigtht at SSR pre-cruise
4 nights on the Dream
2 nights at BLT

Will Bell Services hold my Owner's Locker for 4 nights?
I know I could take it on the ship, but I doubt we will have room in the rental car we are taking to the port. Anyone done anything like this?

I can't answer the holding question, but I recommend not taking it on the ship unless you need the items in it (which I'm guessing you do not). We did that and with 4 people in our stateroom on the Wonder, it was a pain to have that big box taking up floor space.

For $25, you can have OL pick it up and deliver it again to BLT. That's what I would do if I did another cruise/split stay.

PS - I just saw your tag "Yacht Club Gazebo - 11-2-96" and thought I would just tell you that I was on my honeymoon at YC the week after that! So Happy 15th Anniversary, I guess!

We did a 5 night Dream over the summer and Bell services had no problem holding it (and an additional bag we didn't need) until we returned. They also transferred it over to our second resort, so it was all waiting for us when we got there.

We take our OL on cruises with us. On the Magic/Wonder, it fits right underneath the desk area. The little chair from the desk we move over next to the steamer trunk.

Most times we have not had any problem taking the OL with us but we transported it in our rental car. The one time I had Disney transportation move the OL to the cruise ship, the OL took a beating. We had glass wine glasses in it that were broken. We never have a problem with OL moving the locker, either. Nothing ever breaks in it, they do a great job. But I would NOT trust Disney to move it again.

One of my friends had broken liquor bottles (a mess!) in her OL after Disney transported it. She agrees with you!

And you're right, the OL fit under the desk, but we kept pulling it out to get things out of it, and with the kids junk as well as our own all over the place (and the desk - papers and Navigators and Fish Extender gifts and purchases - oh my!) - our room was a giant mess! So it didn't work for us to have the OL!

We've cruised a couple of times and had Bell Services baby sit our Owners Locker for us. We tip $10 when Bell services picks up out locker prior to the cruise and have never had a problem.

We've left ours with Bell Services twice. The first time we stayed at two different resorts on either end of a cruise, the second time we returned to the same resort (OKW). No problems either time. The first time they transported our locker from resort to resort, and at OKW they kept it in what they call "long-term storage" for us.
