time to do some changes don't want to deal with a 9.4. Hopefully I can still get ADR's.
so how bad is a 9 out of 10 are we talking christmas crowds
this is making me nervous! this is our last day (10/22) and we have ressies at Ohana at 10:45am, so we won't be hitting a park until noon or so and then leave by 6pm. But i guess we can alway swim, do DTD or just do less visited attractions if too crowded. at least during the week won't be bad.
9 is holiday level crowds. Think Christmas or Spring Break. However, with a good touring plan, you will be fine.
So far our dates look decent still. 10/15 is an 8/10 overall and 10/22 is a 9/10 overall... but otherwise the highest we have is a 4 overall. We are also always going to the best park or neutral park and have a plan. So, I am not worried yet!
we are there then too- 10/14-10/22. the week looks okay. i figure we will just do our best to deal w/ the high crowds on the two saturdays. we do RD usually and FP a lot or simply hop to another park if we find one too crowded. i've followed a lot of the recommended days, so hopefully we are good.
Decided to take Jeff (DH) out for his birthday we went to a Teppondo type of restaurant - to see how the kids would react. While Kate (DD) didn't react while at all she got sick all over the car on the drive home.
So needlessl to say I just cancelled Teppondo and got the french bistro one.
oh no! we love Chefs De France though- i can't wait to go back again. not this trip, but will definitely have to book it next time!
We are ensconced at BLT till till 10/7. Our router works like a charm so we are wireless in the room. We have a great view for this being a standard view studio.

oh no- i saw all of your drama. hopefuly now that they are bringing their friend (for the free ride), they will stay out of your business. you know, i am really most excited about this trip because it is just the three of us! LOL! i love my family to death and they don't even cause drama, but it is just nice to go on your own too. here's hoping you still have a good trip or they end up cancelling!!!!
Does anyone know about airline online check in? Can someone explain how baggage check works with that?
i usually check a bag, so i just check in at the airport- but always at the machine- i don't wait in line for the counter. of course now with AA, if you use the machine, you still have to wait in a line to check your bag (at least at DFW). still not bad. online check in is great when you are carrying on. We will use the airport check in service at the hotel (BLT) for our return trip though and check our bags at the hotel. makes it so nice and easy! love that little disney perk.
My mother passed away last week. She fought a long four year battle with cancer. She was only 66. I miss her so much
We leave for Disneyworld in a week and I have lost my joy, which I know is totally normal. I just keep telling myself that she's in a better place and in no more pain. I guess I just had to get on here and read a few happy posts and try to get a little of my excitement back..I have to. My three year old grandaughter, Hannah sure is excited..she's packing as I write this
And I know my mom would want me to carry on and be happy, so Im gonna do my best!
oh no- so so sorry to hear this. SEnding you thoughts, pixie dust and hugs. May your memories of her last a lifetime. I know it will be hard to go when you are so down right now, but maybe this trip will be a little pick me up too. HUGS!!!!!!!!
I have officially begun packing!
I have had a Disney box going for a while, but it was just a place to throw things as I got them. I now have 4 suitcases laid out and there are things in them!

i am officially starting packing tomorrow. i have the suitcase in the closet and loaded with stuff, but i haven't organized it and haven't done clothes just yet. tomorrow i am actually going to figure out what clothes we are taking. yeah- 12 days tomorrow!
Don't they know my down computer is taking away from my important dis time? 
I got to meet them when I was pregnant with my daughter and told them I was naming her Lucy, they thought it was awesome. I'm very excited and nervous all at the same time. I think it will be great to have some quality time with just me and my son.
