Parking fee?

We would like to visit Margaritaville for a late dinner. We are not going to US/IOA.

I recall that there is a parking fee at Universal, but it is waived at a certain time.

Could someone give me details about the parking fee? Does the restaurant validate parking?

The parking fee goes down to $3 after 6pm I believe but I did not see where it would be free and I did not see any signs that rest validate.

If you're going during an evening event like HHN or Mardi Gras, the parking fees stay at $15.00 until either 8pm or 10pm. But during regular times, the fee goes down to $3.00 after 6pm and as far as I know restaurants do not validate. You have to pay it if parking in the garage.

I'm not aware of any restaurant providing parking validation either but AAA members get 10% off at most CityWalk restaurants so that can save a little if you're a member.
