The Side effects of the AP-Trip#6 Oct 10 Final thoughts and some TMI

I do believe he was NOT speaking english but really I think NOT getting in the croc enclosure is pretty universal across all cultures.

I dunno. There is that whole "running with the bulls" thing.

Flame tree was under rehab.

:sad1::sad1:

We had a lunch ARD for LeCellier.

But what is an ARD? Is that a pirate reservation?

I do remember the waiter asking if we wanted pretzel bread to go and believe it or not we declined.

:eek::eek::eek:

There are a few things you never turn down in life: money, FastPasses, and extra Le Cellier pretzel bread are among them.

EE was in order. There was no wait this night.

#8 Look at the kid next to me. I bust out :rotfl2:ing every time I see it.

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Classic!

I LOVE that picture with the kid freaking out. That was genuine fear!

I am wiping tears again because I had to scroll by that picture again. I also believe his sister was behind me. :lmao:
the 2 in front of me are just as calm as calm can be. I wonder why Dad didn't ride with the freaked out one?

Hey, was that the same girl with the parrot shirt in picture #1 and picture #4?

It is, It is. I didn't even notice. :rotfl: Looks she was having a ball too.

True dat. but I was a little surprised that A CM did not come out the shadows to stop him. :sad2:

I may have to "steal" Mr. Burns. An ARD is a dyslexic ADR or an Annual Review Date which must have been on mind at work.

I can't beleive I turned it down either. I knew those poor precious sticks of goodness would meet an untimely and unnecessary death in some garbage can later that night. Free dining was taking its toll and I know I didn't want to stuff them in my bag.
Shhhh I can get some pretzel bread locally at our Supermarket. Not the exact same mind you but it will do in a pinch.

I have to wipe the tears away each and every time I see that picture. :rotfl2:

Maybe that guy dropped his brain down there somewhere? :confused3 There's idiots everywhere.

We had fun that afternoon! I wish my neck had tolerated the coasters better this time around, but I content with once, as we had to head out.

And I wish Flame Tree had been open! :cloud9:

I think your idea of why we didn't drink was right on; I also recall having a pretty good headache coming on which I was trying to quell with water.

I don't think that kid's mouth could get any wider if he had a dentist sitting next to him. Poor thing, he'll probably be scarred for life!

::yes:: a male with his buddies in a foreign country. Yup that a recipe for disaster.

You would not want to Hoop Dee Do after having an early start drinking. You might walk in the wrong restroom or something.

I think the contrast between him and possibly a sibling in front is great!
I don't think he was screaming because if I thought he would be scared, I am sure I would done the mom thing and try to comfort him. I think the drop just snuck up on him, but it is a great picture of him.:lmao:

good eye my friend.

the one with the boy next to you is great, it looks like his sibling in the seat behind you they have the same expresion on there face.

good eye my friend.

She was stalking Pat! Actually, I noticed the parrot shirt in the first one and then there it was again a couple of pictures later.

I don't know if you remember in my TR, I had pictures of ToT from 2 different times one day and I thought there was the same guy (other than me) in both of them. :scared1: It turned out not to be the same guy, but they looked alike.

Thanks for the welcome! Glad you got to meet the girls again. Love the series of EE photos! The look on that little boy's face is priceless!

The boy in front also looks like a sibling but he is sitting next to Dad and is calm.:confused3

With everyone riding EE and basically getting off and running around to get back on I am not surprised to "see" someone familiar.

We were all walking right back on so I probably didn't have time to look around to see who was walking with me. :lmao:

I had fun being able to run around and ride again. I really didn't notice the boy until I posted the picture. It is hilarious.

Day 6 Thursday Sept 9th 2010

I am up but moving a bit slower this morning. I am still losing my voice and I can feel the allergies starting. Uh Oh.

As I leave for the AM I see the smokers gathered around the fountain.
Chris is still sleeping and will call me when he heads out to wherever he chooses to go.

IMG_8631.jpg

Every one of them sitting there is smoking. Good thing it is the smoking area.

I am heading to the park with this. I closed that park last night but I am back to see more animals early in the day.

I make it in right after rope drop. I mosey on over to…

That is the month and year AK opened. 4 -98.

Further down this road

I double back to catch Primeval Whirl. This had the longest wait I encountered all day… 20 min.

It was approaching noon and it was time for me to

IMG_9013.jpg

I would love to say "There was a crash and he was in the enclosure and before anyone could act the hungry croc gobbled him up" but sadly that didn't happen. :rotfl2:
:lmao: LOL!!!!!! Good One!!!! I needed that!

And that last picture on EE with that little kid is priceless! OMG! Hope his parents saw that! :rotfl:

8 times on EE. You are my hero! :worship:

No, ARD stands for "Allgemeiner Rundfunk Deutschlands" - which is the publicly funded German TV station, the oldest we have and considered to be the most serious one!! I don't know why Pat would want to watch German TV at Le Cellier though - I guess it must have to do something with her heritage... ;)

Two great updates. I am really sad that there aren't evening EMH hours at AK anymore. I think I might for the first time ever actually go to guest services at AK to complain about something - the disappearance of evening EMH!

And the picture of the baby elephant reminded me that that they had a new baby born in August, I really hope we will get to see him in October!!

We love watching the gorillas!

You know he is saying, "Hey, Mildred! The crazy humans are back to stare at us some more."

I'm one of the crazy humans that loves to watch them. :goodvibes

Good shots. Love this show. Can't wait to see it again in about five weeks!

That's what I wanted my classroom jellyfish to look like. ::yes::

Fun Disney trivia. :thumbsup2

More great pictures! Love the safari ones, and :woohoo: you got to spend so much time capturing Devine!

Thanks for the shout out, but I'm hoping it is the picture of the temple that reminds you of me and not the Yeti inside! Oh wait, that is probably the part that reminded you of Glenn! :rotfl2:

Of course you had to check out the tumble monkeys! And I agree that picture of the little boy on EE is :lmao: Every time somebody reposted it I cracked up! Looks similar to a Jenbear expression if you get her on something more exciting than TGMR! (j/k Jen.......Love you!)

Throw in some alcohol......:rolleyes1 Of course, I guess being there with DIS buddies can get a little carried away too! Oh, wait!..............
