"ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE AND PIXIE DUST"
Welcome to my Disneymoon trip report! Our trip was two weeks filled with lots of attractions, lots of characters, lots of fun, and more importantly, lots of PICTURES.
If you've read my pre-trip-report, thank you for following me and welcome back. If you are new, thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy reading along. Don't be shy to say "Hi".
In my PTR I have written two "unofficial" trip reports, which you can read about in my PTR (there are links to every chapter in the first post), or go directly there:
- Our 2009 trip, which sparked our love (*cough*obsession*cough*) for Disney
- Our destination wedding in paradise, which is the reason for this Disneymoon

The Cast:
ME : Mel, 30 years old

Favorite Characters : Stitch, Tinkerbell
Favorite Movies : The Lion King, Lilo & Stitch
Favorite Show : Festival of the Lion King
Favorite Rides : Toy Story Mania, Tower of Terror, Spaceship Earth
I'm an elementary school teacher, which is why we had to wait a few months after our wedding to go on our Disneymoon, and why we can't avoid the heat and crowds of summer in Disney. I started work the very next day after we came back.
DH : Ron, 37 years old
Favorite Movies : The Lion King, Lilo & Stitch
Favorite Show : Festival of the Lion King
Favorite Rides : Toy Story Mania, Tower of Terror, Spaceship Earth

DH : Ron, 37 years old
Favorite Characters : Donald Duck, Genie
Favorite Movies : Fantasia, All the classic ones from the 90s (Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, etc.), None of the crappy "direct-to-DVD" sequels (his words, not mine )
Favorite Show : Finding Nemo
Favorite Rides : Toy Story Mania, Rock N Roller Coaster, Spaceship Earth, Soarin, etc. (Each of these is his favorite for a different reason: thrill, fun game, calming, etc.)
DH works in an office and spends his time daydreaming about a Disney filled life if we ever won the lottery. He has a 12 year old daughter who did not accompany us on this trip. He and his daughter love to play or watch zombie related games and anime. As you can see from his way too long answers he spends a LOT of time thinking about Disney, reading about Disney, analyzing all things Disney and of course talking about Disney (with me!).
Both of us had been to WDW during our youth, but it's really during our 2009 trip that our complete LOVE for all things Disney was rekindled. I feel so blessed to have found such a wonderful and loving man who I can share a passion for Disney with. We both love thrill rides, though lately I've had more motion sickness problems which has affected my ability to go on some attractions. Nevertheless, this did not stop us from experiencing almost everything we wanted to.
When and Where:
POP Century Resort, August 10 to August 24, 2011
What:
Well our honeymoon, of course! Also, we had the free Quick Service Dining Plan. On top of that, we paid OOP for a few table-service.
Before we really start this trip report, I have a POP QUIZ for you:
1. Was a two weeks trip too long, too short, or just perfect?
2. Which restaurant did we try to walk up to and did we get in?
3. Did we get rained on and did it affect our plans?
4. Speaking of plans, how much did we stick to them?
5. What kind of Pixie Dust did we receive?
6. How many characters did we meet and which ones? Which one was the best interaction?
7. How many times did we ride Toy Story Mania?
8. Did I ever beat Ron's score?
9. What ride did we go on the most?
10. What's our record number of fastpasses held at one time?
Read on if you want to find out the answers (and feel free to post your guesses)!
