OMG, I wonder which one they're getting rid of. That's going to be sad.Greece and France are the 2 new destinations...I don't think this is a secret.
I had forgotten but just remembered that on our Swiss Alps trip in July, our guide told us they were eliminating one of the destinations and that she was shocked and saddened by this - I tried to guess which destination but she wouldn't give me even a clue. We'll have to see next week, I guess.
I saw that on facebook. I thought it was a bit silly. I'm with you. Just post the new itineraries, why dontcha!!!!Went to the website and a window popped up that said "guess our new destination" and had a clue. And they've posted something similar on facebook. I wish they would just put the itineraries on the website already. I'ts not a well kept secret anyway.
Oh for cripes sake I am too old for highschool games. IF you notice on the window at the bottom it says clue and the number 1 throught eight and you can't click on any other number. I guess each day a new "clue" will be revealed. This is not endearing me to ABD in fact it is quite irritating, just announce the trips and stop the games.
I've been watching this on Facebook--just one other venture to drum up word of mouth etc. It doesn't bother me any--the announcement will come out when it comes out, so the lead up is of no real consequence....so chillax!
Tozzie- I agree with you; I find it manipulative. I think for people who only take ABD trips it might be a fun way to anticipate. But for those of us who comparison shop, the lateness of their announcement has led me to be looking at other options. I am now sorry I did not book a refundable option with another company. There is a good chance I won't like what ABD offers( given the " teaser" info I've got) and I'll have to scramble to get 6 spaces elsewhere. Also the air to my destination just made a huge drop; and I could have jumped on that if I had dates. If I miss this price drop I will not be happy.
I guess if they can fill their trips with just people who only travel ABD, never needing the ocassional or new guest, they can do what they like. I'm a pretty big ABD booster if you read my posts; but I'm annoyed with the delay and now the cutesy attention getting tactics. Trips should be available at least 1 year in advance.
But they don't fill up their trips. Our guides even seemed concerned about it. We had only 16 on our trip this summer. Out of the 3 ABDs we've taken, only one was full. I think there are more reports on this board from folks whose trips were not full than otherwise. I think they need a lot of new guests and can't really afford to lose the loyal ones either.

I have to agree. In our case we have to scheduale our vacations at least a year in advance we could not wait until the end of August to see what is available. We already made next yaers tour with Tauck because they published their tours early summer and it fit our vacation scheduale. Second our last tour was only 1/2 full. Like the cruise lines, ABD should go after their past guests hard to develop loyalty IMHO.
The clue wouldn't come up on the ABD website for me either. But here it is from Facebook:
Clue #2: Stomp into the fun and take a sip of this sweet dessert.
Several of the Adventures have been changed a bit and there are several new Adventures.
Disney likes to control the release of their information.
The next years pricing and promotions are not released until mid-summer for WDW.
In my meeting with the folks from ABD, I have explained that many guests need information earlier than the end of August.
Did ABD have a reply to that?In my meeting with the folks from ABD, I have explained that many guests need information earlier than the end of August.
