Looking for a great dining experience for our 5th wedding anniversary, we will have our 4 year old dd and 19 month old son with us.

NOT signature and no dinner shows (there is no availability), Not Seafood as the kids are not into that... and either am I all that much.

I have not chosen a park that day yet, so inside parks is completely an option.

THANKS!!!

Also can we get something special done? and how do you do that?

Marrakesh in Moracco at the World Showcase is good. Mama Melrose at DHS is also very good. You make it hard with the No signature, no shows and no seafood. Yak and Yeti at AK is also very good. My kids have always loved it.

I suggest Kona. We have a 2 and 4 year old. Food is consistantly good and relaxed atmosphere for a family.

Sanaa at AKL Kidani. It's fairly low key and somewhat intimate. Great views, unique setting, and fantastic food!

With your criteria, I recommend the Grand Floridian Café. It's a beautiful restaurant with good food and it's more than suitable for small children.

As far as getting something special done, you can order a special cake or perhaps a bottle of champagne delivered to your table. You can see lots of information on the custom cakes in this thread.

Sanaa at AKL is closest to a signature meal without the signature prices. And your children will enjoy watching the animals from your table while you dine.

Second choice would be Turf Club at SSR. Another quiet place with good food and nice golf course views.

Everyone is amazing!

Thanks for the great advice.

We were going to do a dinner show, but my dd broke her leg and I got busy and forgot about disney totally :scared1:

Thanks for the link to the cake thread going to check that out.

Marrakesh is a much forgotten restaurant. I like that it is wide open, not overly crowded, exotic, and when the music plays it is entertaining. The menu is different (but I love it). Good call Dominus - it adds a little flair to the list.

Another vote for Sanaa. I had my birthday dinner there last year and it was fantastic!!! :goodvibes

I'd agree with Grand Floridian Café. It's a little nicer than a lot of the similar places, and you get to walk around the hotel before and after as well!
