Raglan Road or Planet Hollywood?

We have a lunch ADR at PH after DD8 goes to BBB. We are on DXDP, and will have CRT for dinner. I picked this because we enjoyed our OOP sandwiches there last year, but would order something like a steak, ribs, or seafood on the DP. We had dinner at RR once years ago, and while it was good, there was nothing memorable. I did notice they have seafood (not)chowder and steak on the lunch menu. Which of these two are the better choice for a steak or seafood at lunch? If the food quality is much better at RR, I will change my ADR. I'm not expecting much from the food at CRT, so I'm thinking lunch should be the yummy meal of the day.

I had the ribeye for lunch at Planet Hollywood a couple years ago & it was excellent. DH had the fajitas & loved them.

We're trying Ragland Road for the first time this year. Before our CRT dinner. Great minds...

I've never been to Raglan Road, but can say that the food at Planet Hollywood is nothing to write home about, its decent - to me PH is more about atmosphere and experience than the actual food.

I had the ribeye at PH this past november and I felt and still think, it was one of the best steaks I have ever had. I will return for another one the next time I go to WDW.

The food at RR was very good! It is a more grown up atmosphere perhaps, but then so is PH I guess. It's been years since we've eaten at PH, but as I recall, we enjoyed the food. I think RR would be a bit quieter if that matters.

Raglan Road hands down I've had decent food at PH but never anthing like what happened at RR. As I was eating I decided God had put Chef Dudon on this earth to bistow the gift of Bread Pudding on us. It is heaven on earth. Nothing compares. I won a free trip to Denver a $3000 dollar trip it was shockingly amazing and a true blessing and even that does not compare to Raglan Roads bread pudding.

We're not big fans of Raglan Road but it easily beats PH in food, service and overall experience.

Not unless the entertainment RR has at dinner (music, dancers) is NOT there at lunch.

We had an 11 pm reservation for Raglan Road after the late La Nouba show last year, and ended up leaving RR in favor of Planet Hollywood for three reasons.

1) It was SO LOUD at RR...like, dance club loud. You couldn't comfortably have a conversation with the other people at your table.

2) This wasn't noted anywhere when I made the reservation, but apparently at some point during the night, they stop serving the full dinner menu in favor of a half-page menu that had none of the items we'd thought about ordering when looking at their menu online.

3) We sat there looking at this shortened menu and trying to talk to each other over the music for about 15 minutes before we decided to head to Planet Hollywood. There were only about five or six other tables in the place, given the hour. Yet no one came to our table in all that time.

I have been to both and we will be doing both again this year, my kids want to see PH so think they will like the atmosphere but food quality goes to RR for sure and my kids went to RR last year and they wanted to go back too :)

Raglan Road--had their steak last trip and it was fantastic! Also on DxDP, you can get the Dalkey Duo as an appetizer. Mm, battered sausages...
