vacation finally set

We have finally set another trip down to the world. We went down to AKL in march of this year but visited Universal. It just wasn't the same. I really missed the relaxation we get from visiting the resort and taking our time visting the parks. This will be the first trip during the holidays for mom and dad in law. I can't wait to see them when they see the lights. How long are MVMCP tickets for sale? I hope we can get to it but we can't make that final determination until DS gets final schedule for holiday concerts. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the concert is the week prior to us going.

They will have tickets for sale until the last minute. I am taking my parents to MNSSHP for the first time and this will be their first stay at Kidani--can't wait for my Mom to experience the savanna.

I've heard that AKV is out of the way and takes forever to get anywhere?? Is this true? If it is, is it worth it to stay there anyway?

AK is out of the way, but you can live with it for the beauty and peace and quiet. The savanna is something you can only see here at AK. We own at AK and OKW and have stayed at different resorts ( SSR, BCV, BLT ) and believe me, we miss AK. Some times we have waited 5 mins for a bus and other times we waited 15 min. Not any different at the other resorts.
And yes it is worth the stay. IMHO

Sounds like a great time planned. We love the holidays at WDW. The party tickets will be on sale until they sell out. You can always wait, but if you are sure you want to go, I'd buy once I knew my dates. Have fun planning!
