Le Celier - Lunch or Dinner

We do lunch. At dinner, it takes 2 TS credits and to me, it's just not worth a whole other TS credit when I can get exactly what I want at lunch time. :thumbsup2

The menu does vary a little b/w night and day, but they have a filet for lunch and NY strip which is makes me and my DH perfectly happy!! :goodvibes

We do lunch. The meal is amazing and doesn't cost as much as dinner. There are other EPCOT dinner locations that are good and cheaper.

Thanks Everyone! Lunch was what I was thinking. Just need to make sure I was making the right decision. Now I just have to wait a few weeks to make a reservation for March.

So, beginning in March it will be 2 TS for dinner but lunch will remain 1 TS credit? Is this correct? I want to make reservations for March as well but I don't want to use 2 TS credits.

That was as of last March.

We were there at the beginning of the month for the first and and adored the food at dinner but not the price. We will for sure be back on future trips...for lunch :)

As an aside question - when does Le Cellier switch over form lunch to dinner? In an ideal world, I would get lunch at a late off-hour, eat a large, multi-course lunch there, and then spend my dinner snacking around the world showcase.

Lunch is served until 3. Dinner starts at 4. I just made a 2:30 reservation myself.

We are not on the dining plans when we go , and we are excited to try it for dinner this time. We have a ressie in early Feb. We haven't been for dinner in a long time (years), as we could never get in , but now with the dining plan increasing dinner to extra credits , I would gather that improved our chances. I assume many are now going the lunch route , just as this thread seems too attest. I am interested to see what the dinner is like ... and if that will keep us coming back for dinner in the future ...

We have done both lunch and dinner and the experience and food was terrific at both sittings. There was plenty to chose from at both meal times.

Just had dinner at LeCellier on Wed. To us it is worth the points (we just paid for our dinner at Captain Jacks at DTD). The new menu had everything we were looking for and every one of our meals was fantastic. The portion size was just right - enough to fill you but not enough that you were overly full. This has always been on of our favorites and we will return again on our trip next year.

Either one is fine . Getting an adr is the tough part

We've been for both lunch and dinner prior to the Signature upgrade in March, 2011. Back when we went lunch and dinner menus were pretty much the same except for the price. We have loved it all 3 times we have been and I easily got a lunch ADR for the date I wanted next February when I booked online at our 180 + 10 day.
