Ok...We are going Thanksgiving week and here are my ADR's that I just secured...I keep tweaking :) I will list them in order of day. We haven't ever done the DDP and I was somewhat overwhelmed.

Week of November 20th:
Sunday: Le Chefs (supper) My 14 yr od DD wants this
Monday: Crystal Palace (supper)
Tuesday: 50s Prime Time (lunch) Citricos (supper)
Wednesday: O'hana (supper)
Thursday: Boma (supper) -- Thanksgiving
Friday: Cape May Cafe -- supper
Saturday: Chef Mickey's breakfast before leaving...

I need to drop one of them I just don't know which one.... I have 7 TS and if I keep Citricos it throws stuff off...

Don't give up Citritos it will be the best meal you have that week.:thumbsup2

You might not want to do 50s and Citricos on the same day unless very far apart. 50s offers pretty huge portions IMO, and I couldn't have done a big dinner after eating lunch there. As far as what to get rid of...Boma would be my suggestion. I just wasn't impressed at all. I haven't been to all the rest, so can't really comment. It looks like you actually need to get rid of 2 though unless you get rid of Citricos.

Your current plan "costs" 9 because on Tuesday you are using 1 TS for lunch plus 2 TS for dinner, and you are using 1 TS each of the other 6 days. So if you have 7 TS credits, you are 2 over, not 1.

One option is to pay OOP. Buffets are pretty standardized, but check the menus to see what you might order at the other TS locations. See whether the 2 cheapest, when combined, are less than what it would cost if you paid OOP at Citricos. Citricos might be the cheapest, in the end, especially if you got creative and shared an app plus an entree plus a dessert (and you wouldn't get the app on the DDP anyhow).

The other option is to drop something. If you drop Citricos and move the TS lunch Tuesday to a TS dinner, you're down to 7. Or you can drop 1 TS meal (I'd say to drop 50s PT) plus pay OOP for 1 more TS meal and keep Citricos, again bringing you down to 7 credits total.

Frankly, except for 50s PT and/or Citricos, I'd hate to see you drop any of these; I think you've made some excellent choices and will get to sample a wide array of cuisines during your WDW visit. And I think Boma would be an awesome Thanksgiving dinner!

I agree with the PP who suggested you drop Boma. I wasn't impressed either. The place was crowded and very noisy. I like Jiko, so it's not the flavors that bother me necessarily. I just didn't like the execution at Boma. Who knows what they'll do to Thanksgiving dinner. ;)

Don't drop any of your ADR's. I am also a firm believer that if you made an ADR for a specific restaurant there was a reason for it. Instead pay for 50's PTC OOP. It is by far the least expensive meal you have there. If you have to drop one, I disagree with the other posters who said to drop Boma. Your going to want to have a TS dinner on Thanksgiving and if you drop Boma your going to end up just replacing it with a different TS, which will put you right back in the same situation your in. Out of the restaurants that you listed, I would personally drop 'Ohana. We hate the emcee woman, the food has been dry and tasteless and the service has been beyond awful, it is by far the most overrated restaurant on property, in our opinion.

Thanks for all your advice :). I'm going to look through and see what to do. I just may keep them all and pay for the cheapest one.

Ones. Again, since Citrocos is 2TS, you have 9 booked and only have 7 avaliable. If you don't pay Citrcos OOP, you have to pay for 2 other meals OOP. Hate to see people get to the last day and discover they're out of credits AND they have the most expensive stuff left.

I agree with the others, I would not drop any - you have made wonderful choices. I think your line up looks great. Not every restaurant you are going to is my favorite, but we all have different tastes.
I agree with Quin too, Since you have scheduled 9 TS credit meals, I think paying OOP for Citrico's will end up being cheaper than paying for 2 of the other meals
Good Luck

I would absolutely drop Boma. We had three people in November last year, and none of us ended up liking that experience at all. A full week of dining, and that's the first one off the list for next time.

I would drop Boma and move 50's PTC or Citrico's to Thursday night instead, if possible. That way you would still have something every day.

I would think about changing CP to breakfast because I think their breakfast food is really good, but that's just me.

I would also not do Citricos and PT on the same day, maybe move PT lunch to another day? I worry you may be too full to enjoy Citricos as much as you normally would have if you hadn't already had a sit down meal, KWIM?

Also, either pay OOP for Citricos, or pay OOP for PT and Le chef, because you don't have enough credits.

Also consider the travel from the parks to the resort for a meal, and back to the parks. We're not doing a lot of dining at resorts for this very reason, it takes a lot out of the park day, KWIM?

We're going to be there for Thanksgiving also. :) Our Thanksgiving meal is going to be Sci Fi, LOL. I've spent a lot of holidays at DL, and having a special holiday meal never really did it for me, but everyone is different. :)

I agree also agree with Quin (I must have missed their first post in this thread that mentions needing 9 TS credits but only 7 credits to use). Paying for Citricos OOP will probably work out the cheapest.

I think your choices look great. We don't do the dining plan, so I'm not sure how that works, but I wouldn't drop any of your choices even if you have to pay OOP for some.

We'll be eating at Boma on Thanksgiving too. Maybe we'll see you there! :goodvibes
