CRT & Online Reservation

Hello all! I was making my ADR's tonight and ran into some trouble with making a CRT breakfast reservation. We are on the dining plan, yet it kept giving me an error stating that advanced payment must be made. I know that this is 2 TS credits, but I had not gone over our TS amount or anything...I'm very confused as to why it wouldn't let me book it! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did you link your resort reservation to the dining reservation specifically? Also, they still ask for a credit card for a hold even if you are on the dining plan.

Yes, I did link it. I was able to make all of the others that way. I clicked to continue just to see what would happen but it seemed as though it was going to charge the full amount if I entered the credit card number. Hmmm...

If I'm not mistaken when you book CRT, Disney charges your credit card until you actually arrive, at which point, they refund your card and apply your dining credits. If I am mistaken, someone else will come along shortly and set the record straight...

If you try to book online, then your CC will get charged. But if you call, a CM will link your reservation and just take your CC number to hold the reservation. That's what I did and was assured that my card won't get charged-unless we don't show up.

The same thing happened to me this morning. I linked my reservation before I started, but when I went to reserve CRT it asked for my credit card and charged my card for the full amount. I am so bummed out. I hope I can get it refunded and use my dining plan credits.
