I must say that I'm so proud of our son who has taught me everything I know about using an iPad, for instance. I'm not a fast learner, plus I FORGET! Today me DDIL asked for some pictures of Beautibelle, and I couldn't remember how to use this like a camera, so I was turning the face and just hoping to get her in the picture. It sort of worked. I talked to Matt, and he gently said something, and all of a sudden I noticed the turn around sign! Duh!!! He never says a disparaging word.

So, Kitty, I'm also looking forward to seeing the fruit of your lesson!

That happened with our internet line one day I thought it was just Chicago squirrels!

Hi

I have a day of rest while the Estate Sale people are handling the sale, so I'm catching up on what I've missed on the DIS.

Sharon, I have some potential good news for you....I will most likely have some BCV points available to rent to you for this trip we're all planning. I had set aside 180 or so points from that year to rent to another friend who was planning on visiting in January of 2013. However, she has just announced on her TR that she and hubby have decided to take a cruise next December 2011 and on that trip they plan on "starting a family". So whether or not they bring home a "little souvenir" I doubt they will be wanting to rent the BCV points I had "set aside" for them. I'm not positive, but pretty sure they won't be traveling much until the kid is a little older.

Well I only went over there for about 15 minutes at noon. if was pretty busy then, and they said it was a bit of a lull. They opened the garages up at 7:15AM because people were already waiting. Tons of stuff was gone, but there was way more than tons there, so we'll see.

Tomorrow they really start to cut prices and only go until 1PM. We'll show up at 1PM and determine how much is really left. We'll two and a half days to get it ready for blowout pricing and Saturday will be the quarter sale. Most everything will be priced at a quarter!

Alison - That'll be the first time I'm doing DVC using rental points! (Completely clueless!!) I don't know if I should be celebrating or trying to save some more!

At the rental prices I'll be offering you'll save 50% off the rack rates for a deluxe. I did the math for the friend who was going rent the points and I don't know how people can afford to pay for rooms! Yes we spent quite a bit on our DVC, I could probably be driving a luxury car. However that car would be worn out in another10 years, but hopefully I'll be still going to WDW!

No seriously, I don't know what you paid for that BCV studio in 2010, but renting points, it will be much less!

I could stay in BCV too. It's very convenient for Epcot. With your love of Disney, Princess, I am surprised that you haven't done the DVC tour on one of your trips! I know, you're having too much fun!!!

I came close to going to a DVC presentation last year....somehow the timing never quite worked out.

I've never done a presentation. We bought our first contract resale, the second was direct, but I just marched into the CA sales office asked for a copy of the VGC points chart and what were the current incentives. The next was also in CA and it was a simple phone call to my guide. The last two were resale in an effort to beat the second class DVC ruling.

I love the Epcot area, having stayed several times at the Dolphin.
