A Hop, NO Skip, and Many Mishaps to a Disney Dream!

You got some pretty nice shots of the MSEP! I really tried to get some good ones, I did get a few. I did get one that I'm excited about. It's the sign that says, MSEP.

This pic of Claire is cool with that rainbow along the ground.

Getting caught up with updates--

your little neice is too cute!

Love the other pics from the party, claire's dress is cute for a 4th of July Party.

Love the MSEP pictures!! We missed that when we were there, I was so disappointed.

Thanks. It was fun taking all the pictures. I could never get that rainbow effect again if I tried. That was the glare of the sun, and it was making me mad. But now I think it's kind of cool.

Thanks. I just finished editing the last few of them. They weren't great, but not the worst either. I'm hoping to get another update posted, but I have a lunch date with friends pretty soon, and I seem to be in slow motion...like usual.

Thanks so much for reading. You will love this ship. It is absolutely gorgeous. I wil lbe sad when Claire grows out of the princess phase. I'm gonna try to hold on to it for as long as I can and hopefully she will too!

One thing I noticed with my 3 nieces. Princesses are not cool when you are in junior high. But when you reach upper high school/college age, the princesses become cool again. So there's only a short blackout period in there of 4 or 5 years.

Jen, LOVE The photos on your blog! Oh my you have such a talent! They are beautiful!

I was getting pretty bold with my camerea, but I did cover it best I could.

So far I have not ruined a camera, but I love to take park shots from the top of the Splash drop. I try to snap 2 simultaneous pictures at the top and then get it inside something waterproof before we hit bottom. Some of my best park pictures were lucky shots from the top of that drop. I have a great one of the castle from up there.

I don't know what camera you have, but I think Jen's at least is weather-sealed. Mine is not, so I'm a little more paranoid about trying this myself!

I hope that reigns true here too!

I'm too afraid to go too far with it. My point and shoot, I wouldn't care so much though.

Is it? I didn't know that, but I sure as heck am not going to take a chance.

The parade ended. We were happy we stopped and Claire was even happy with my decision. It did seem like this parade is shorter than Spectro though.
I asked Claire if she wanted me to take her back to the room and she said no way, She still had many rides to ride.
We started in the direction of Tomorrowland.

I missed posting these, but I believe these photopass were taken after our dinner and on our way to buy a sweatshirt. They are pretty crappy, but here you go. Thats the tank I bought at Castaway cay

On the way over to Tomorrowland I believe we stopped for these.

I walked her by Space Mountain and asked if she wanted to ride, and she said “NO WAY”. Darn it. I still held out hope, but it never did happen.

That crazy girl talked me into the tea cups. I don’t like this ride at all. I can’t spin…or if I do, I feel very sick. So the deal was I would ride, but we would do everything in our power to NOT spin…and she agreed and followed through, which I was happy about.

We headed over to the Tomorrowland Transit Authority and it has just closed at midnight, so we missed it by minutes.

We decided to take a spin on Buzz, which was walk on.

Neither of us did well, but I did much better than Claire.
I don’t remember who’s score this belonged to…hopefully it was Claire’s. LOL!

And our redneck shot. We look very determined! Actually I look down right scary. Must be the lack of sleep catching up to me.

You have the 50D, right? If so, I think that is weather sealed. My T2i is not. Not sure how far you can push a camera with weather sealing, but I bet it's farther than I should push my non weather-sealed camera!

Well thats good to know! :thumbsup2

Yikes, the teacups! :scared1: Scariest ride ever if you ask me

Yep! I did OK though. We held tight and did not let it spin. We actually had fun because we kept laughing about how hard we had to work to make it stay still.

I agree with you! Those first 2 photopass were kinda bad, but the other 2 were nice! Claire's blue eyes shine though:cutie:

I was just talking with my DH about being in MK late on our MNSSHP night, and wondering how late Kadence would make it. She gets a bit cranky after about 10 pmish, (she's a morning person:eek:) Maybe some sugar and a mid day rest?;)

More nice parade photos:thumbsup2

I just love Tomorrowland at night with all the neon lights.

Tea Cups, I get so dizzy on those. But at least they are not as bad as Mission Space.

I always end up with bad night time photopass phots. On year there was not a single one that wasn't blurry.

I love walking around at night and seeeing everything lit up.

:laughing:I know what you mean about the Tea Cups! If River wants me to go on them the rule is NO spinning!

To get River to go on Space Mountain the first time I told him that it goes slower then Thunder Mountain which I read somewhere and showed him. He was scared but he did it and loved it.

I can't wait to see the rest of your night.

Hey Jen!

Sorry it's been a while since I've posted here, but I had lots to be able to catch up on!

I'm happy that Claire was pleased with her BBB look. I agree with you though, I'm not too sure about the "poof" of hair at the top. I guess as long as she was happy, you were happy too!:goodvibes

I know I'm not in the majority here, but I really do like MSEP! I especially love the Pete's Dragon floats and the Seven Dwarfs! I can't wait to meet them at MNSSHP!! Last time I watched it I had a spot right next to Sleepy Hollow and it wasn't very crowded at all.

BTW, love the pics of Claire and the cows!:thumbsup2

I love MK at night. Actually I love all the parks at night, they just have a special feel to them. The teacups make me a bit queasy too
