Where can I make Palo reservations on the Dream?

We sail in 2 days and I was never able to get a brunch. Does anyone know where to go once onboard? Tried searching around but had no luck :confused3

I believe that I read here that on embarkation they set up tables outside the entrance to the Royal Palace. (It's on your left as you enter the atrium up the couple of marble steps by the grand Piano) We saw them there when we were on the Dream in March so maybe that is the place. We tried for lunch when the window opened on line but they were all gone but we booked Dinner (we are Platinum). They do keep (I believe) about 20% of the slots open for people to book when they get on board so there is still a chance....Oh that Grape and Blue Cheese Pizza is unreal...:lovestruc We are on the same cruise as you are (sailing the 19th) so....race you for it :rotfl:

Was on the July 5th cruise. Still have my navigators. The navigator states to call 7-9735 between 1pm - 3:30pm for Palo's reservations. To call 7-9734 for Remy's.

It seems like they keep changing it. In April, we were told to go upstairs to the check in desk for Palo/Remy. Ask where you should go when you get onboard. Also, don't wait until 1:00. I went around 12:30 and there were CMs waiting to help guests.

On our June 21 Dream Double-Dip I just called the number listed for Palo reservations in the paperwork we received upon check-in (when we got to our stateroom) and was able to make the plans I needed. No standing in a long line or wandering around trying to find the right place to do it in person.

we were able to get a Palo reservation at the podium in front of the entrance to Palo at around 1p.m. just after embarking the Dream..... very easy and no line to wait in...(we had lunch at Cabanas, then went right upstairs to the Palo desk).

Wow...our three Dream cruises in January there were huge lines for Palo and Remy in D-Lounge at 1:00 pm.....they started lining up at about 12:15!

Looks like they do keep changing the location from the other posts.

FWIW, this is what I did for our May Dream cruise as well. Called from our stateroom right around 1:00 p.m. and was given our choice of times for brunch even though nothing had been available to book online. :thumbsup2

I went up to Palo right after boarding on our July 10 sailing, and was the only one there... snooped around a bit in Palo and Remy, and a CM shortly arrived and gave me my choice of times for brunch also. It was fabulous!!

I was on June 26th sailing of the Dream and in the Navigator it said to call between 1 and 3? Or something like that. So, after lunch we went up to Palo around 12:50 pm and there were no brunches left. The person before us got the spots. I was really disappointed as this was the first time I ever had to miss brunch. Anyways, my advice would be to go to Palo immediately do not stop to eat. It is a shame that Disney can't follow their own rules but this is why people work around them. I told them so in the satisfication survey. We waitlisted too and no luck. I did find out they do not hold back that many reservations either. In the past I thought it was 1/2 of the reservations but the person said no. The majority of the reservations can be booked online. Our cruise was over 50% repeat cruisers too. We also only had one sea day.

On the June 12th sailing we headed straight to Palo's . We had a dinner reservation and was trying to change it to the night of our 25th wedding anniversary. We were the only ones there and they told us they would have to put us on a waiting list at first, but then just switched us!

It's not very well explained. Just returned a couple of weeks ago. We asked a few people, and they told us to call the number in the Navigator, which we tried but kept getting the answering machine. Finally, I decided to try the D-Lounge. Most of the people there were trying to change dining times. But one guy finally told us he could get us a Palo reservation for that night, which isn't what we wanted. Eventually he agreed to try to get us a brunch and called on a portable phone he was carrying. My sense was that he was just calling up to Palo, but he was able to get through where we weren't. He was able to get us brunch, so it was all good. Next time, I'd probably just go to Palo directly.
