I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for reading :)

Thanks for the very informative reviews! You all are a great looking family! :)

Thanks for reading! :)

What a great review. I agree with many others, one of the best I have read, and a great and thoughtful analysis of the DDP.

I got such a kick out of you saying "ya'll" and "I reckon".
I never would have guessed someone from Australia to use those expressions. Did you study in the states, and pick them up here?

Also, your beautiful mother looks so familiar to me. Did she ever work in the states? (I have never been to Australia.)

Take care.

I was born in Aus and have lived here my whole life, but I've been fortunate enough to have travelled to many places, including the US on a number of occasions. Not to mention all the Hollywood entertainment that we get on TV in Australia, so I suppose I've picked up the 'lingo' from all that! :rotfl:

My mother hasn't worked in the states, but a few of our American friends have told her that she looks like people they know!

And thank-you so much for reading, I'm glad you liked the reviews :)

Hiya

I've just read all your report in one delicious bundle!:)

I have to agree with many others - what a fantastic, insightful and entertaining review! Your photos are brilliant too. Lovely family.

Thanks for taking the time to write it - are you going back in the near future?

Shari! I still remember reading your 2010 Dining Report (the first one I really got interested in and read along the whole way) and it well and truly inspired me to write my own, so thank you very, very, very much! :thumbsup2

Thanks so much for reading, I really appreciate it. As for going back in the future, I would love to but nothing is on the cards at the moment. But, you never know! :)

I want to hear about what happened in Vegas and Mexico.

:rotfl: I don't have near as many pictures, but I do have the memories of the food in Vegas and Mexico! I suppose I could write them up somewhere, but I just don't know where!

I agree!!! I am late to the party - I just found, an read, your entire dining review and enjoyed it very much. You have definitely put WPE on my "must do" list and Raglan Rd looks good as well. Hope you and your family are doing well.:)

Thanks for reading, I'm glad you enjoyed it! And I'm sure you won't regret a visit to WPE or Raglan Road! :)

Great reporting, loved reading your reviews!!

Thanks!

Thank you for taking so much time and care in your review!

No worries, I'm glad you liked it!

Lol my fuzzy Disney math was perhaps the most enjoyable part of the review :teacher::rotfl2:

I look forward to reading your review in the future!

great reviews!

Thanks!

I too am late for the party...
I loved all your reviews, so interesting. I stayed up a few nights ago and read the whole thing from beginning to end.
I have a question if you ever come back to this thread.
Approximately how long did each meal take? Maybe you could just give a rough estimate of TS meals vs. CS meals?
We are taking my daughter (2.5) and she sits still for maybe 20-30 minutes if we are lucky. We might take her to one TS restaurant and make her sit with us if it is under 90 minutes, but more than that we are asking for one big meltdown. Your thoughts on time?

Hi Jenzerbenz, thanks for reading! I'd be glad to answer your question :)

It varies from place to place, but I suppose you could probably do a CS meal in 30mins and a TS meal in around 60-70mins. I'm not sure if you're thinking of doing the dining plan or not, but it just adds a little bit longer because of having to order the dessert etc. 90mins for a TS meal should be plenty of time. Since the menus are readily available in many places online perhaps a good idea would be to look over the menu and have an idea of the things you might order to lessen the wait?

Another thing to take into account, especially with the table service meals is the wait for the table. Even though you make the reservations, there can still be a wait. It's not a long wait, and we often went to our ADR's early and they still let us in before our reserved time, but I suppose it is something worth considering.

Another thing I might suggest is the family style meals and the buffets. With the buffets the food is right there so you can get into it straight away, and it's pretty much the same with the family style meals, since the food is ready to go in the kitchen and your server just has to bring it out.

I hope this was helpful. If you need any more information please feel free to ask :)

You can't know how much your great review is going to mean to us when we go to Disney!!! You showed on paper what you saved and that was one of things I really wanted to know and if it was worth it. I love the idea of being able to go into any restaurant and just order what you want!!! How much fun is that???:cool1: You did a great job!! Thank you:cutie:

That was FANTASTIC! Thank you!! :thumbsup2

Thanks for reading Lori! :)

Thanks for reading Sandy, I'm glad it was useful! It is definitely really great going into a restaurant and not having to worry about how much a meal costs, you're right it is fun! :)

I'm sure you'll enjoy the DDP and hope you have a great trip! :)

Your reviews were fantastic :thumbsup2! Clear, concise, full of great information, and entertaining ! You have a knack for writing. I'd like to echo the request for a trip/dining report from the other portion of your trip !
