CPAP Machine!!

My dad has a C-Pap machine and will need distilled water for it. Is this the Medical Request Form::

That needs to be faxed to DCL?? I just do not see a spot on the form to request what he needs on it. Thanks, a bunch!!

We were on the Magic in January and my husband also has a sleep machine. We didn't fill out the medical form. I just e-mailed DCL.special.request.medical@disney.com a couple weeks before our sail date with our room number and the date of our sailing and asked for distilled water. It was waiting in our room when we got there!

Take a long extension cord. The outlet isn't always well placed for the CPAP machine.

My dad travels with a long extension cord now always (packed into the same bag as his machine) because it's been an issue so many times when travelling.

I can't remember exactly what we did...either called room service after boarding, or told our room attendant...either way...jug of water was in room before nitey-nite time.

Email request worked prefectly in both PC and Barcelona. Distiller water was there when we arrived. Ditto on the extension cord.

You can just write the request on the line requesting the gallon of water and an extention cord. It will be in the room waiting. Now my DH uses the water on the ship, because it is put through a triple RO filtration sysytem. After the week, he has never had hard water stains in the bubbler. We also bring our own extention cord and a roll of maskin' tape to tape down the cord. The outlet is behind the television.

I used the tap water on the ship as well and didn't have a problem.

I use a CPAP also, but also have to sleep on a wedge (not sure if other people have to do that also) but it's awkward to travel with. This is our first cruise though, and I was wondering do I just come with it under my arm or what? I can't imagine it fitting in a suitcase.. I really wish I could travel without it (not to mention my DH hates me walking around with the thing lol) but I don't know what else I could do..

anybody have any suggestions?

Just call guest services when you get onboard...it will be in your room before you can blink.

Room service is actually who you don't call...their words...as the water is for a medical device and not consumption.

My wife and I are both cpap users. Our machines are the first thing packed along with extension cords in our carry on's. We always have used the ships water from the tap without any problems.

Had no problem getting an extension cord from my room attendent and used the tap water, no issues!
