Hey There The Alice!
I am wondering if you would be interested in designing several things for our family's 1st trip to Disney in November 2011? Here are some of my thoughts and what I am looking for.
1. I need family t-shirt designs - 4 adults (1 Momma (Kim), 1 Gram (Carolyn), 1 Daddy(Mark) and 1 Pops( Todd) and 1 child (Katie she is 7)) I am looking for Thanksgiving design. I'm not sure what I am thinking of to be specific. I don't think I want the classic Saturday Evening Post Thanksgiving with the Disney folks standing in, but something traditional. We live in Georgia, so having snow on the ground won't work for us, but fall leaves and colors would. I'd love for them to have our names as shown above, either as individual shirts or a collection of all of our names.
2. I need the same amount of shirts (4 adult 1 child) for a Christmas design. Here is my thought. We have an appt at 8:30 am at Bippity MK one of our days at Disney, and we plan to wear Red shirts and blue jean shorts or capris ; and have our photo taken in front of the Castle for our Christmas picture. I would like this to have a bold image that is really clear and Christmas-y at the same time. I'd love to have the year on there 2011. I'm flex about having the names on the shirts it's up to you about that.
3. Daddy and Pops are REALLY into motorcycles, and Daddy is a police officer who ride a motorcycle for his job. They both own Suzukis (if I spelled this correctly). I'd love to have a motorcycle design that I can put on Black shirts for them to feel more "manly". Their names are Mark and Todd if you care to incorporate that into the design.
4. We are celebrating my mom's (Gram) and daughter's (Katie) birthdays while we are there. They have an great relationship, and I'd love to have a design that I can put on a white or light blue shirt that indicates that it's their b-days and the images reflect good friends or a grandparent/grandchild. I'm not sure what I'm thinking to be specific, Katie loves Princesses and Gram loves Katie.
5. We are all going to the luau, and I'd love to have Mickey & Minnie Hawaiian dancing? with the date November 2011 and maybe The Polynesian Resort? I think I'll do tan shirts as the back ground. It'll be 4 adults , 1 child. It's okay if they are all the same or all different and it they have all our names or none of our names.
7. Id love to have our names that I can transfer on to the sleeve of the shirts. Maybe Mouse Ear with our names Kim, Mark, Katie, Todd and Carolyn. It can be whatever you dream up, but the space on a shirt sleeve near the hem/stitching line is kinda small, esp. for a childs shirt.
7. The final thing I need are 3 first time to Disney Shirts - 2 for the men and 1 for Katie.
The Alice honestly if I've requested this incorrectly or been rude, pushy or demanding, it was unintended! I'm fairly new to the board, and wasn't exactly sure how to ask for everything that I'd like to have. It if should have done it differently, please advise me so that I don't make an enemy.
I appreciate so much you're making your creativity available to the ill-equipped like me! Would you please let me know if this is something you'd like to take on, if not I understand and I'll try to figure out something else.
Kindest regards and thank you in advance for your consideration,
Kim aka Atlanta Grits
