Not sure if a proper redo of PI is possible in 6 months ... so I'll stick to REOPEN THE ADVENTURER'S CLUB!
This is easysomething that we talk about every trip:
BUILD A STAR WARS RESTAURANT!!!! in DHS.
Theme it like the cantina and you can have a "band" that would play. Character interaction would be great and a big added plus for older kids who have moved beyond Pooh and Princesses. The places to eat at DHS are so lackluster I think a SW themed restaurant would be awesome!
Create a central fast pass hub in each park, where you can get a fast pass for any ride, so you don't have to run across the park each time you want to get one. Or make each fast pass machine capable of giving you a fast pass for any ride that has them.
Huh. That seems really, really smart.
1) Rebuild/re-theme Tom Sawyer's Island into Pirate's Island as it has been done in Disneyland. This sounds super cool, TSI is kind of boring (to me anyway). Also a few subtle Princess and the Frog themeing effects scattered around the resort. I love the idea of really theme-ing up PO. Add gratuities and appetizers back into the DDP. I agree with this, in theory. I would love to see the option for either desert or appetizer, but would hate to see automatic gratuities added back in. Rebuild/reopen Mickey and Minnie's houses, Donald's boat, etc just as they were in Toontown over at DHS. Just...YAY!
Ok here we go:
Expansion of a Beastly Kingdom or Australia to AK. This sounds interesting, I imagine it would get more people to AK, I think a lot of people think of it as just another zoo sometimes.
Another country to Epcot. The hard question would be-which country. I'd like Australia, but rural Australia (even though it's a continent).A tickerish thing for bus stops, so you know approximately when the buses will arrive. YES! Just YES!
that
Epcot:
Turn the Odyssey into a cabana area along the windows. Private areas available for daily rentals, with A/C, view of the park, a couch, TV, fridge, takeout from any Epcot restaurant... Medium expense. This would be so easy, and it would make Disney SO. MUCH. MONEY.
OR...either of these sound a lot better than running all over the park.Set up a fastpass lobby system in resorts. WDW guests can print fastpasses in the morning. Even if it is only for one attraction at a time like the ones in the park, it would give you a jump on your day each morning, or after a resort break.
Add photopass machines to all "thrill" rides, like test track has.

It wouldn't work because everyone would be just going straight to the Fastpass machine, when they might otherwise see that the standby line is empty and use that. The Fastpasses would be gone by 10 AM.

I don't think it's groundbreaking or anything, but I would LOVE a "boyish" character meal like with the characters of Cars, Toy Story, etc. (My daughter was all about Toy Story when she was younger, too, and would have opted to go to something like that before a princess meal.) Disney has really left a gap.
7) I would get screen out and dismiss employees who don't understand the meaning of "the most magical place on earth", "pixie dust", "where dreams come true", "the time of your life" , etc. and do more to reward those who do get it!
8) and as on offset to #7 I would do more to have unruly, rude, drunk, plain nasty guests removed from the parks. If you're stumbling through Epcot, its time to go!
9) The magic that happened during "Year of a Million Dreams" would be an all the time kind of thing. Cast members would be able to just surprise guests with special things all the time, with anyting from multiple small extras all the time (day long fast passes, a free treat in the park, special photo op with a character, etc.) to occasional extra special ones like the stays in the castle or free family dining experience one evening.
14) Internet would be free in your room. Seriously, if Holiday Inn can offer it......
Also, seatbacks for FOTLK and the Beauty and the Best show, too! (If I remember correctly they were all bleachers.)
We saw all 3 of those on our last trip a few weeks ago. I was 30 weeks pregnant and my back was killing me! Horrible, horrible. I really feel like I didn't enjoy the shows as much as I could have because I couldn't get comfortable.
OK, if I were in charge, the very first thing I would do would be to tear down the whole Stitch ride (not just try and change it, but just tear it right down).
I would then start work on a high-tech meet and greet area. I would use about 4 different characters as the central figures. I would use some of these:
Lilo and Stitch
Wall-E, and his robot girlfriend
Monsters Inc characters (since they already are next door)
What I would do is have 4 separate chambers where the characters would be, but instead of just normal rooms, I would have rooms with a computer background that could be changed in just a second with a scene representing that character (a bedroom, the factory, or the doors for example for the Monsters Inc characters) that each guest can pick for their picture. That way there is a possibility of about 12 different scenes that each guest could theoretically choose from. This would be a great way to make them want to come back over and over. It would be a cool alternative for younger guests to keep them occupied while their older siblings are riding Space Mountain, and best of all, it really wouldn't cost that much.
I think this would be a much better use of the space rather than what is there now (that dreaded Stitch ride).
1) Rebuild/re-theme Tom Sawyer's Island into Pirate's Island as it has been done in Disneyland. I think it turned out seriously cool in CA.
6) Get rid of the evil of Stitch's Escape in Tomorrowland. I don't care what you put there, for pete's sake ANTHING would be an improvement.
8) Rebuild/reopen Mickey and Minnie's houses, Donald's boat, etc just as they were in Toontown over at DHS. That was such a neat place for kids to explore and there was no need to destroy it. It really would fit well into the "old Hollywood" theming at DHS.

How about a Pirates meal at The Caribbean Beach resort?
And I would put up a set to bleachers on a first come basis for senior folks who cannot sit on the curb for the parades.
