I think that Donald Statue looks like its made of CHOCOLATE!!! Coincidence? I think not!

On our Alaska cruise on RCL we were on deck 3, so we almost always ran up and down the stairs. Of course, this is from the lady who once lived (when I was a teen) on the 18th floor of a condo building in Ocean City, and run up and down.. and I once raced a friend up the Statue of Liberty... but again... as a teen.. however, I take the stairs whenever possible, especially on vacation because it might be the only exercise I get!

Kathy, you and Jen both take great pics! I haven't booked my August trip yet. I finally got word from my son that he is NOT expecting us to accompany them back to Florida, so we can go whenever we like. So I just need to get DH to sit down and pick a date that will work for him. He just hired a new person, so I'm hoping that means he can actually TAKE vacation now. The current plan is to book OKW or SSR (first choice), but if nothing is available in a studio, we'll likely book Pop to save $$, although, I'd really to try some place different.

Thats a bummer they didn't do anything when you set sail. It seems like they would have made a big ordeal out of it.

Nice photos! I shot in my highest ISO in dark shows and I have some noise, but not too bad.

I really think Claire make a very cute Raupunzel. Kadence saw those pics on FB and says Claire look just like Rapunzel but little

Where did you get the matching Mickey tie-die shirts and the little dress for Claire? If you do not mind me asking.

I got them from a Diser. She sells on etsy. Just search Mickey tie dye.

I think it was because we left so late and the 1st seating of the show was about to start. I think normally it's a pretty big deal.

The photos the photographer took turned out really well too. I hate how much they charge for that CD but I have a feeling one will be coming home with me too....

Thanks. I have never seen a whole lot either, so I thought I would share with those who wonder like I do.
The CD is a lot, but I had made my mind up before hand that I would most likely be buying it and kept that in my budget.

I took some pictures of Claire the other day while she picked me some "beautiful" flowers. I thought I would share some of them. I really like the Black and White ones.

Ive been stalking your trip reports and I love your pictures!! You are totally better then you give yourself credit for! I am so sorry about your memory card, the same thing happened to me last year. There was a few pics from our last trip to Disney but it also had about 200 pictures from the time my son was born till he was a year. It makes me really sad because he was premature so the pictures mean alot
But anywho, enough about my sob story lol Your daughter has the most gorgeous blue eyes I've ever seen!

Thanks. I was playing with a lens I kind of forgot I had, and I was actually happy with it. Though I think most of the ones I posted were from my telephoto lens.

She likes to pose when she is in the mood. I have about 10 pictures of her sniffing flowers. She did everytime I put the camera to my eye. I had to tell her to try and do something else, or just keep picking and not worry about what I was doing.

How awful. I know the felling. But at least I had 2 other camera with enough pictures to fill in most of the gaps. I have learned a few times that it's importatn to try to get them on the computer when I can (though it didn't work for me this trip) and also copy them to CD right away too....just in case. I'm not always good about doing that, but I know I should to save myself.

We have a school trip to the zoo today. If course it is overcast, but I think the rain will be going south, so we should be OK. Claire wanted to wear her Tie Dye Mickey dress and I'm wearing my shirt! But we both will be wearing sweatshirts, so proably no one wil lever know we are twinkies!

As you can see by the photo shoot pictures, I had not yet changed for dinner. (Why I waited, I don’t remember) We decided to head back to the room to get ready. Of course we stopped for a few pictures on the way.

We headed back to the room and I changed. Claire had been complaining that her dress was really itchy. I was going to put a shirt under it, but when Mom took it off her we saw he skin was very red and blotchy so we just changed her completely. In the future we will always put a shirt under this dress.

We still had a bit of time so we wandered through the shops. I had to buy a sweatshirt for a fellow Diser. She had been on the cruise a few weeks prior and bought one for herself, but her Mom ended up not getting one and regretted it ever since. So she asked if I would pick one up for her. The one she wanted was no longer available in bigger sizes, but they had a similar one in a different color, so I purchased that right away so I wouldn’t forget to later on.

We headed then towards Enchanted Garden.

Word to the wise…don’t get to Dinner early or even on time…You WILL wait. We got there about 5 minutes late and still had to wait to be seated. I would suggest getting there about 10 minutes late and you will next to no wait.

Our table was right by the doorway.

The place was beautiful.

The new pictures of Claire are beautiful. They also reminded me of a conversation I had with Jack (7) the other day. He had also picked me a bunch of Dandilions. The next day he over heard a conversation I was having with a neighbor about how crazed my DH gets when he sees a weed in our yard. I mentioned dandilions and Jack just stopped and said "Wait, I gave you a bunch of WEEDS? And you didn't tell me? That's just great Mom. Just great." I had to laugh and say " Well they are pretty weeds."

Your EG pictures are lovely. It was such a pretty place to eat. I didn't take nearly as many pictures of the interior as I would have liked. Silly me!

Rinky - we never asked to be seated by ourselves, but we were always at a table just the four of us. I was sort of looking forward to meeting others at dinner, but it was fine. There are lots of tables for 4 at each of the dining rooms. It seems they configure tables to match party sizes as much as possible. Unfortunately, for dinner at EG, we were seated at a regular table with chairs, not one of the cool booths. But we got one at breakfast one day!
