Walking from POFQ to POR

How far is the walk from the FQ food court to the Riverside food court? We have booked POFQ already, but the online food court menu for POR looks much more appealing... I'm thinking we might walk over there but if it takes too long it probably won't be worth it. If we could get a rough estimate for time that would be great. Thanks!

I think 10 -15 min. Not long. I agree, the POR food court is better. The make your own pasta bar is fantastic.
We stay at POR, and one morning walked over to FQ for the Beignets :goodvibes And one night we decided to take which ever bus came first, FQ or POR. It was FQ so we hopped on that, then since we were there, decided to check out their gift shop before strolling back to POR. We were in Parterre Place, the closest Mansion to FQ.
I love strolling around the resorts, the landscapping is beautiful, and walking along the river so nice.

I think 10 minutes is a good estimate and I agree that it's worth the walk over. When we stayed at POFQ we ate more of our CS meals at POR than at POFQ. The walk along the river is very pretty.

My sister and I stayed at POFQ in September of 2007, and several nights walked over to the POR foodcourt. Took us 10 minutes tops. My family and I will be staying at POR this September, so our walk will be coming from the reverse direction this time. :lmao: Have a wonderful time.

It's not a far walk at all since the Food Court is on the POFQ side of the resort.

You know what.......if your feet aren't screaming at the end of the night - it's also a LOVELY walk at night around POR. You can walk a big circle -then over the bridge and back to POFQ........quite romantic.

It's about a 10 minute walk, and it is a beautiful walk. The grounds at POFQ are beautiful. You could also take the boat ride to POR, but it may go to DTD first.

If you want to make an event out of it, take the water taxi back and forth between POFQ and POR. :)

We also prefer the food court at POR (but do think POFQ's is also good, just more limited).

Think about putting Building 7 as request on your reservation, its the closest to POR, and will cut down the walk a bit over other buildings.

Thanks everyone, sounds good!

We might just take a boat if we're lazy  How often are the boats?

And thanks to Amy&Dan for the Building 7 suggestion :)

For the boats it depends on the time of day, when it's busier they run more often. I'm thinking I remember every 20 minutes or so? The walk is not bad at all and it's a gorgeous property. We've taken the boat up to POR a few times to eat. -but,....the beignets are sooooo hard to pass up at FQ you might find the POFQ menu is not a problem at all.

From 11 am to 4 pm; they run every twenty minutes.

From 4 pm to 11 pm, they run every ten minutes.

It is also very convenient for POFQ guests, because the water taxi stops both ways; from DTD and from POR.
