Hey all. I'm planning a 4 night stay at the end of June with DW and DS3 using the generous military discount. I was planning making resort reservations according to one of the following:
1) CR Tower BLV for 2 nights on the DDP followed by Poly CL TPV without DDP
2) Poly MKV for 2 nights on the DDP followed by CR Atrium Club BLV(MKV does not seem to be available on discount)
The first option is only ~$50 more overall. FYI, the last night of our stay will be July 3rd. Will plan to watch the fireworks from whichever resort we are at.

I plan to go to the Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios mostly during the first two days, watching Illuminations from Rose and Crown the first night and Wishes from the Tomorrowland Dessert party on the second night. I will be spending the second half of my stays at Epcot or the Magic Kingdom.

I've been to Disney World once when I was a little kid(34 now) and once two yrs ago without my family during a conference. First time staying at a Disney Deluxe resort. Will have a car with me during the trip.

Thanks

I voted for #2 (Poly MKV for 2 nights on the DDP followed by CR Atrium Club BLV).

The view of the fireworks from the CR CL lounge and Bay Lake from the room is amazing. Great way to end the trip! :cloud9:

I voted for #1.....CR then Poly.....there's nothing better, IMO, than watching the fireworks from the Poly beach :cloud9:.

If you are right next to the MK at CR, why would you want a bay view? If you are at POLY, the CL has a lounge perfect for viewing the castle. I would say take the TPV at CR, viewing the castle and parade at POLY are better on the beach or CL lounge.

The reason why I didn't pick MK view at CR(at least for the first two nights) is that I am already going to view Illuminations at Epcot and then Wishes at the Dessert Party those nights. The view would be wasted.

Op, I just want to add that when watching the fireworks from the CR lounge, you can see down into the MK park. It's that close.

When we watched Hallowishes we could see the fog coming from the HM and the spinning fireworks on the castle. The view is spectacular.

Another thing, we enjoyed dessert from the lounge while watching fireworks and if you time it just right can see Illuminations and water parade from your room.

Honestly I don't think you can go wrong with either choice...just wanted to give you more info to think about.
