do you have a keyboard for it? Do you have a mouse?

Do you have the Apple versions or what do you have?

Thanks,

I just got mine (ipad2) and LOVE it. No keyboard is needed. No mouse either- just a flick of a finger!

I've had mine since last June and love it. I don't use any accessories, and it works fine most of the time. If I want to write a long post, sometimes I wait till I get to a regular computer. But the built-in keyboard is fine for short posts (like this).

I have the keyboard for mine and while it's nice it's not really necessary, I blog and use it for that but not really a needed accessory I don't think.

Yes, I realize it isn't necessary.....but I hate typing on screen.

It may be better with the larger size of the ipad vs my ipod touch though.

I will wait to see.

It's 1,000 x's better. I never type with my ipod because I have short, fat, crooked arthritic fingers and can't use the ipods keyboard, but I have no problem with the ipad. I wondered the same thing since I have so many problems with my hands and its not a problem at all.

I, too, use the built in keyboard. If I turn the iPad long ways I can type on the keyboard just like a regular keyboard.

I have the Brookstone wireless keyboard/case. I do tend to use the built-in keyboard for quick posts. I love the way the case folds into a triangle so I can use the iPad hands free too. The keyboard is great too.

I don't use a separate keyboard for my iPad, and find it fine for short things, like a PP mentioned. The autocorrect can be kind of annoying, though.

Thanks. I guess I will just see how it goes and see if I feel I need an external keyboard.

You do know you can disable the auto-correct, right? I go back and forth deciding which is worse... Having to fix errors myself, or having to undo some of the auto corrections. :confused3

OP, I only use the built in keyboard and have no issues. It's definitely way easier than on a touch. If I'm typing something longer I will often turn to landscape, which makes it even easier.

Yeah, I tried that for a while, and decided that it was better to deal with the odd instances of autocorrect than to have to manually correct all of the stuff it actually gets right

I use the on screen keyboard, it is really much better to type on than you might think. If you are in landscape orientation, the buttons are bigger than the ones on my netbook. You cannot use a mouse with an Ipad, because there is no pointer to control.
