Hyatt MCO on Hotwire?

Hi all. Hoping to get helpful advice. Has anyone booked Hyatt Regency at Orlando International Airport via Hotwire recently? We need to get in one night on April 7th and it has to be the Hyatt as we fly out very early the next day and want the convenience of already being at the airport. Does anyone have recent "Tips" on getting "Hyatt" on Hotwire? I know we used to have to look for *4-stars*, *95%* recommended and *4.5* rating. Is it still the same? Also I heard the Renassiance (sp?) is very similar in their rating so this makes it tricky. Tips anyone, TIA?

I haven't booked that hotel with hotwire but find the betterbidding website really helpful for hotwire bidding - of course you may already use it! I don't know what you are wanting to pay but it looks like the Hyatt Regency MCO is on lastminutetravel for $113 for your date 4* airport area. On LMT it is easier to make sure you are getting the right hotel because the photos match. There is some advice on the priceline thread about checking the identity of hotels on LMT - very helpful. Good luck!:)

Just as you had said - from the betterbidding website -

4* Hyatt Regency
Amenities: Shuttle, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Tennis, Business
OR
Amenities: Shuttle, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business
(same as Renaissance)

4* Renaissance Airport (previously 3.5*)
Amenities: Shuttle, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business
(VP also showing Smoke Free but hotel product not currently)
(same as Hyatt)

- but it does look like those who have booked this hotel through hotwire got it for as little as $60/night which is great - still no idea how you could tell for sure which hotel you were getting unless it is listed as shuttle, restaurant, pool, fitness, hi-speed internet, tennis, business. Looks like it could be there on hotwire for $89/night for your date but of course don't know for sure it is not the Renaissance. Good Luck!

Looks like someone just booked this hotel through hotwire. From betterbidding -
> 4* Orlando (Airport MCO) Hyatt Regency, $68 ... 3/12/11-3/13711

I just booked the Hyatt Regency MCO using the provided links here. The offer was $68, $82 with taxes / fees.

Amenities = Shuttle, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Internet.

^^Thanks. We are not needing it until April 7th (which is the end of our trip). I just checked Hotwire and the only one available I think is the Renaissence (4 stars 90% recommended and 4 out of 5 rating. What were the stats for Hotwire when you booked? Was it 4 Stars, 95% rec and 4.5 out of 5 stars?

I think my chances are slim since it right smack in the middle of Spring Break and we are actually leaving home last week of March so I won't be able to be on-line as of then (we don't bring electronics with us on vac).

That's the only one I see - 90% recommended (likely the Renaissance).

May be something will turn up for you. Lastminutetravel.com might me worth a look. Good luck!

Keep checking; it usually shows up about 10 days - 3weeks ahead of time. I watched and watched and watched for our trip last November for a Sunday night. It was offered on hotwire every single week for $59 except for the one I needed. Ended up paying around 140 on cheapostay.com...sigh
