Great Wolf Lodge, OH

Which one in Ohio? We went to Mason over the weekend and had a blast. I had a 20% off code that was given to us by my employer.

We are looking at staying only one night, April 5th. I know spring break week is higher. It's looking like 289.

I just tried a couple of codes that have worked for me in the past at the one in pennsylvania but, the only one that seemed to work for the great wolf in Mason, OH is:

code: fun

you said your price was $289 and this brought it down to $260.99 (I know it's not much but, it's a few bucks off at least).

* it also worked at the one in Sandusky, OH

Thanks for the fun code and it does work. I think I read that I can get 10 percent off with AAA, but I have to call. So both work out equally. Still hoping for cheaper, but I doubt if I get it. There is an indoor water park at French Lick, Indiana, which would be closer for us, and cheaper. Anybody been to that? If so, how does it compare?

Where are you coming from? I know for us Mason is a little over 2 hours away. Not sure on French Lick but may have to look into there as I refuse to spend $250 or so a night at Great Wolf Lodge.

My friend was telling me that the Comfort Suites in Shepherdsville has just been redone and they have an indoor waterpark as well. Now that it is no longer owned by Ramada I am willing to give it a try. I will NEVER stay at a Ramada again after our experience with them and their corporation stinks.

We stopped in and checked out the water park on our way home from Holiday World (Great Park!!) and it seemed pretty nice. We didn't stay there but we wanted to check it out for the future.

I noticed that the prices for Great Wolf in Mason are quite a bit higher than Sandusky. Watch out for the $10.00 a night fee they charge you for the use of their coffee and a newspaper. That kind of rubbed me the wrong way.

Holiday World is absolutely the best. We always look forward to our summer trips there. I hate to even mention it on the boards, because it has grown in size so much since we first started going 15 years ago!

Yes, I am wondering if the French Lick waterpark wouldn't be just as nice myself.

My husband is stationed at Ft. Knox and we went to Great Wolf for a marriage retreat through the Army. Room and use of the water park is free, but we had to pay for our meals and it was pricey!! Great place and lots of fun, but the one in Mason doesn't offer many really good discounts.

I haven't been to the waterpark in French Lick or know of anyone who has been there. But my cousin has taken her daughter to the Pirate's Bay waterpark in Shephardsville and they LOVED it! Granted, it's not anywhere near as grand as Great Wolf but much more affordable.
