Has anyone ever stayed at this hotel? I found a great rate of $89 a night for our family of four on their website. It says they have free breakfast and free poolside drinks in the evening. I know there is a $8.95 resort fee daily but the total for our stay in October would be $788 so that is great so far. Any advice on whether this is a great place to stay or not?

the one at 5876 W. Irlo Bronson
Memorial Hwy? If it is we stayed there one night in january and it was not a pleasant place. we actually demanded that our reservation be moved and they gave us no trouble on it- like they are used to it. very rough crowd was staying there and the place is very very old with outside entrances to the room- which i will not stay in. We actually went right down the street to the Comfort Suite east gate and it was lovely- I am so glad my hubby demanded that we move! Breakfast was disgusting- uneatable.

Thank you for the information. I think we are talking about the same place. I agree I do not like staying in a hotel with outside entrances. I will keep searching.

Im sorry I have never staid there and I know this wasnt your question. I read on your post that you would be spending about $780 for Parc. Another option might be for you to check out orlando condos for rent by owners. We have done this several time thru VRBO.com and other sites and saved alot of money. Just an option. Best of luck :)

My husband and I stayed at this RPS in Dec. 2010. I have to disagree with the above post. Yes, it was an older property but for the price, we found it to be clean and comfortable. It had outside entrances however, the building was built entirely around the pool area and you needed your key card to enter through any door other than the lobby. All the outside entrances were in this atrium area, not the "motel" type. We normally stay at Hampton Inns but were trying to keep the cost down on this leg of our trip so decided to give RPS a try. We never stay at dumps. I wouldn't have hesitated to demand to be moved it it was dirty or anything else. The pool area was very nice. the Drinks in the evening were house wines, beer and soft drinks at no charge for 2 hours. Our suite was very comfortable and CLEAN. The free breakfast was not disgusting at all. We had fresh made waffles every morning. It wasn't a huge selection, but very eatable and free. We were there the first week of Dec. and the majority of the guests were families, not a rough crowd. I have no way of knowing if a group or whoever was there when kittychatalot stayed. You just never know that kind of thing. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed it. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and plan to again in Dec. If you decide to stay and have any questions, I would be happy to help.

I agree with this post. We stayed there (although it was 6 years ago) and it was an older hotel, but clean and pleasent. I refuse to stay anywhere that isn't clean! We would stay there again, but we have since realized we can rent a condo or townhouse in Windsor hills for less money so we do that now. We don't get free breakfast in the townhouse, but we can make our own meals in the condo so it works out.

Would a condo at WH offer less than a full week rental? Say, 3 to 5 day?

Thanks!

Hi. It depends on the owner that you rent from and the time of the year that you are going. I believe that you may stay for 5 nights for sure I am not sure about 3. I will give you the link I have used before for windsor hills. This link is www.WindsorHillsRent.com
Also if you search www.VRBO.com and find one you want with available dates you can find out the owners requriements and you may email/call them to get your questions answered. Hope this helps.

two words... BED BUGS.

we stayed there in 2009, on our second morning waking up, we found 2 adult bed bugs in our 2 year olds bed. I put them in a ziplock, and went down to the front office... they were disgusted, didn't want to touch the bag or look at them, but did NOTHING.

We told them that we were not paying for the past two nights, as now we had bedbugs to worry about in all of our belongings. They didn't challenge this, but we had to demand it. Actually, they wanted us to pay for one night, and we absolutely refused, stating we would take the bedbugs, and show everyone sitting in the breakfast area.

We packed our belongings, went to CSR and never looked back. thankfully we did not have a bedbug issue that came home with us. we were VERY careful, washed all of our clothes the first day at CSR, and left all belongings outside when we returned home.

NOT something you want to deal with on vacation.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
