Mirage, Caesar's Palace or the MGM?

Two summers ago, a friend and I stayed at MGM (Great pool, nice variety of restaurants). We are heading there again with 4 other ladies (we met during that stay).

It is all about the pool for us...do we stick with what we know or do we try Caesar's Palace or Mirage (staying at the other end of the strip would be new for me)? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Many years ago we stayed at the Mandaly Bay and loved it. Great pool. I know it's not on your list, but check it out.

If it's all about the pool, you have to go with Caesars. Mandalay Bay's pool IS nice, but if you've already stayed at that end of the strip, you should try the midstrip area. Plus, Caesars has the most gorgeous pool I've ever seen-- it's a sight to be nice! The rooms there are amazing, too. (No resort fees, either!)

I would try the center strip.

MGM pool is great, but far from the rooms. But it's more of a playing in the water pool. Ceasar's has a great pool if you plan to lay by the water. Mirage, is a fairly basic pool and small for the size of the hotel.

Since you mentioned it's all about the pool. From the 3 you listed, Caesar's. :thumbsup2

Another pool worthy of trying, Venetian.

Caesars--only if Forum room or better; if so, they win nicer room.
Mirage has lush pool, Caesars is more Greek-stark.
Venetian pool isn't as nice as CP or Mirage.
Mandalay is one of my fav resorts--but SO far south on strip; I always prefer midstrip.

I asked DH his opinion...
He said drop MGM; nothing memorable there, and crummy location.
He said it was a tough choice between Caesars & Mirage...he likes different things about each one. Likes Caesars Palace Tower room best of all we've stayed in (and we have done Wynn)
Mirage small edge over CP pool...more lush, but usually more crowded.
Likes Mirage sportsbook & casino better; a bit more convenient to get to the strip from the rooms also.

We were there last month and split our week in 1/2 MGM 1st and stayed on that side of the strip. Loved that pool. Then we stayed at Flamingo 2nd 1/2 of week. Loved our Go Deluxe Room overlooking Bellagio, but didn't like the pool, so the attendant said that we could Pool Hop to Caesar's since same ownership. OMG!!! Caesar's had the best pools and so warm, We loved it. I actually like that part of the strip better. It worked out great, because we paid cheap Flamingo rates and got to hang out at expensive pool at Caesar's (5 minutes walk across bridge)
