Anniversary dinner...Cali Grill or Narcoossee's?

Hi! We are looking for dinner on July 3(they have the big 4th of July fireworks this night as well) for our 9th wedding anniversary! We haven't eaten at many signature restaurants (at all Any tips on whether you would pick Cali Grill or Narcoossee's? I am a steak eater...that's the only thing I will eat off either menu to be honest !

DH and I love Narcoossees. It is not as loud and busy as Cali. It is a smaller place, but the view is beautiful and we love the food.

I agree with everything KarlaG4Kids said would choose Narcoossee's. The dock outside has a great view of the fireworks.

Had a hard time with this as well. My wife does not like seafood so I ended up choosing Citricos for our anniversary dinner and California Grill for her birthday dinner (which both days are back to back!)

I wouldn't pick either for an anniversary dinner. Ca Grill is noisy and Narcoosees has the worst food of all the signatures. If you want steak, why not consider Shulas?

Completely agree with this. If you go to resturant.com you can get a "gift cert" for Shulas and the current promo code is menu.

If deciding between your original choices, I would go with Narcoosee's.

I agree with Pakey. Neither of those restaurants have a nice atmosphere for an anniversary dinner.

That said, I find Cali Grill to be MUCH better than Narcoossee's for food and service.

Oh Boy...that would be a tough choice for us since we loved both of them. As you can see, you are going to get varying opinions since dining/restaurants are such a personal decision. Narcoossee's and Cali Grill or two totally different experiences.

Narcoossee's is a little more intimate while Cali Grill puts me to mind of a modern NY restaurant. We loved the food at both. Service was a little more upscale than Narcoossee's.

Whichever you decide I'm sure it will be wonderful! Have you tried looking at the menu to see which appeals to you more?

I liked the atmosphere of Cali Grill (more fun, kids were with us), and thought Narcoosee's was good, but a more romantic setting than Cali (again, kids were with us). I can't believe people say it has the worst food of all the signatures. I really enjoyed my meal and I can be fairly picky especially about lobster and filet, and that's what I got and thought it was very good. I pick Narcoosee's for an anniversary dinner.
