Cruising Halloween on the FANTASY-10/27, 2012

I just moved my Dream 4 day to the Fantasy Western Halloween 2012. This will be our third Halloween on a Disney Cruise, .

We moved our spring break mexican cruise to this cruise. We did the halloween cruise last year and loved it!!

Hi, Nicole and family! Lots of time before this cruise, but I am hoping to encourage family friends to sail with us. I think it will be amazing to be on the new ship.

Still deciding to go this week or the following week we will be on the magic for a second straight year on Oct for halloween this year. My wife wants to try the eastern espically with the Fantasy going to San Juan in 2012.

I would love to do the San Juan, but DM wasn't sure. So the Western we go, she is intrigued by the turtles and stingrays. Hey if we have a big win, it might be both.

I will be booking when I am on board in Oct so hopefully I will know before we go also I might have a group of people coming along also so I will be updating as soon as I hear more I really like Disney during Halloween in 09 we were in WDW and had a blast someday I will go during the Christmas season

Disney will do a costume contest, a short treat and treat trail and a deck dance party.

Dis groups that I sailed with in the past have done treat scavenger hunts, group of of kids with an adult solving clues. We all brought a bag of treats and made larger sacs for the final prize.


I think we might treat the Costa Maya day as a sea day or there is a private beach option I read about on Cruise Critic that looks nice.

We did a Halloween Cruise in Oct 2010 & love it.
We dressed for the Pirates Party and Halloween....

Looking forward to this cruise.

We scored a studio at Beach Club Villas at the 7 month mark, didn't even have to ask, the CM offered when Boardwalk wasn't available. We are hoping to do MNSSHP on the Tuesday then Epcot on Wednesday then on to the Dream.

Ps, I completely missed this is the 2012 thread, I am high planing mode for the 2011 on the Dream Halloween. I did get a postcard for this cruise yesterday from DCL, kind of freaked me out in a good way.

And will have similar plans for WDW before the 2012 cruise as we do for the 2011 cruise.

Hoping to stay at Kidani For 9 days, and after the cruise, Universal for 4 days,hoping the flight prices stay low for Oct 2012, we normally fly out in the summer,but because of the Olympicsall leave for emergency service workers has been banned.This means we will have more leeway taking Maddy out of school for this vacation !!!.

Hi I'm Joanne and I am from England and I am soooo excited, because although I am a WDW and DLRP veteran, this will be my first Disney cruise!!! I have cruised a couple of times with RC. I have already ordered my FE from Ebay (although not entirely sure how this whole gift exchange works - any help gratefully received). OMG I really can't wait!!!
I will be cruising with my DH Paul and my DS Alfie who will be aged 12 when we sail.
It will be lovely getting to know you all before we set sail!!!

Which emergency service are you with? I am with North West Ambulance Service!! Seems we will be on the same cruise!!! I am busy worrying about October 2012 flight prices too. We plan to fly out the day the schools break up for October half term, as DS will be in high-school by then, and we wish to minimize the time we have to take him out of school. We know the flights at this time will be expensive. We usually fly Virgin, but will have to look at all options this time (including in-direct). Any advice?

This mean you should be able to do Halloween on the Ship and then hit one of the first Mickey's Very Mary Christmas Party events, lol. Two holidays with Disney, 1 airfare -> priceless!
