Happy Hour and 2 For 1 Drink Specials

I was reading the discount drink thread and noticed people talking about drinks being 2 for 1 at a certain time or area of the ship. Has anyone cruised lately and seen 2 for 1 drinks or a discounted "happy hour" If so, where? Thanks!! Also thinking about martini tasting?? Opinions please!!

I have only heard them announce this at Castaway Cay - usually, the DJ announces that from 1-2 pm, drinks ordered at the bar are 2-for-1. I didn't take advantage of this (wish I had!!!), but this is the only time I heard of this.

And my dh and I have done the martini tasting on both of our cruises and they were both different but fun experiences. The first time it was more about the history of the martini (and half the people didn't show up so we got their martinis too). The 2nd time there was a contest and 2 winners got to mix their own martini (full size). I won and I never win anything so that was fun.

When our Castaway Cay day got rained out, they had 2 for 1 drink specials that day. I don't recall if it was for a specific time...

what's the mixology like? I don't think that was offered either of our cruises.

Where do they do mixology? Do you have to schedule it beforehand? That sounds very fun!

DH and I did the mixology class it was great. It was held in sessions, I do believe. We made a mojito,martini, margarita, a B52 and a drink of the day. We were allowed to get behind the bar and use the shakers and bar tools. And YES the best part was were were able to drink all of the the drinks and more. We would do it again in a heartbeat.
