The Moist Exhausting Free Trip Ever - Link to Part II Thread pg. 244

:lmao:Yup, you sound like a natural! Make sure you wrap your delicate hands in oven mitts so they are protected at all times! I'm sure Judy would love that...'honey, here comes Bob and Eileen (I made up the names;)), make sure to shake his hand for me and if he's lucky, maybe, just maybe I'll take a picture with him'! Ya, what wife wouldn't want to be intercepting all the handshakes for her DH??:confused3 I'll have to find that snooty hand model on youtube now!

George Costanza walked around in oven mitts didn't he? :rotfl2:

If I get some time later, I'll have to look for that clip.

Ugh, 3-D movies are expensive! We (all 5 of us) went to see Voyage of the Dawn Treader and it was like $60 and we hadn't even bought food yet! After we buying tickets, DH bought a HUGE popcorn, candy and soda. I told my kids to eat up, that was supper, especially for that price!

Yep, it was dinner for us too...and even the girls, who didn't go to the movie!

Did you ever consider going on the mission field? Using the facili-trees is an art!! Sounds like you're training your boy well. :lmao:

Hey, I've called the outdoor bathroom "the lava-tree" (long "a", like in "laugh") since I was a kid!

Thanks for your explanation- it's all cleared up now!

Good!

What gave it away? :confused3 Ashlyn's :badpc: the new 40" HDTV? The kids running around unsupervised? Me being a delinquent dad, hiding away at the PC :surfweb:

It's so hard to pinpoint just one....

Don't worry, the kids will grow out of that stage and instead of breaking things and writing on walls, they'll just give you attitude.

Glad we can add some comic relief

It's much appreciated. ;)

I'd love to be a Tron character and look all cool like Glenn! I'm thinking I'd have better dance moves though!

Actually I was a little surprised that no one had given me grief about my dance moves, so thanks. :headache:  In fairness, it's hard to gain a full appreciation with just a few stills. They completely missed the backflip with a half-twist I did.

Well, in our house, I'm the science-fiction fan - have been since I was a kid. But usually I can convince my DH, that because of the innovative technic of the movie he has to see it as well.

I'm sure you'll see it at some point, if not in the theater. I don't see too many in the theater these days.

 Maybe you have a point here - is that the reason they don't show their faces???

Wouldn't that be amazing if there's finally a reveal and it's something like that.

Hey, Glenn makes up enough Post Post Facto rules on his own! It is how the Rules Committee covers up their lack of due diligence when coming up with the wrong answer on the front end of the Judy-do contest installments.... :sad2:
Well there's a good argument, since they ALL are computer created images when he posts them!
Okay, so if I had been the first to say 10, I'm betting you would have said that the one in the FP picture was actually crummy photography and since the Judy is blurred, it doesn't really count and the answer in 9..... :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

I'm just going to rebut all of this by saying that before the post went up I had decided that the correct answer was 10, no matter who the contestant was. (And I bet if you were the first poster, you would have answered "10".)

Okay, Rosie came up with 10. That should tell you right there that 10 can't possibly be the correct answer!!! :lmao:
Sad when the Rules Committee loses ALL credibility....... :sad2: The woman lap dances pigs for goodness sake!!!

This is your best argument yet.

I appreciate you both agreeing with me that my "Judy parts" are just as valid as every other image in this game! :thumbsup2

Is that what they said?

We did Tangled in 3D only because it was the best time for us to see it. I think Henry's ticket was $14 and Joe and mine was $17. :scared1: And we are in QUEENS - which is incredibly more reasonable than Manhattan. I know for the IMAX 3D in Manhattan it's over $20 a ticket.

Holy smokes! That makes me feel better about what I paid. :3dglasses

Let me just say…I really like having a kitchen in the suite on mornings like this. Even though we only had cereal, it’s nice to have a table to sit at, and a fridge to store some milk.
::yes:: ITA! I just blew all of my 2011 and most of my 2012 points on a 1 bedroom for a Dec. trip - I tried to stick with a studio, but by golly - I WANT that kitchen! :thumbsup2

After that, we crossed the walkway to a game called “Runtime”. We each went into a booth to get pictures of us running, jumping, and doing a victory dance, which would become our very own game avatar.
HOW have I missed this one?! It looks so cool!

I was captured and sentenced to “the game grid”. A female program gave me my identity disc and escorted me to the arena.

“What am I supposed to do?” I asked.

She simply replied, “Survive.”
:rotfl2:

By the way, and I don’t know why I thought of this, but James and I went to see “TRON: Legacy” over the weekend. It was pretty good. :thumbsup2
Wasn't it, though?! We really enjoyed it, too. :thumbsup2

Hey, I've called the outdoor bathroom "the lava-tree" (long "a", like in "laugh") since I was a kid!
Not trying to be picky (well, maybe I really am) but the "a" in laugh is not a long "a", unless you Keystoners pronounce the word LAFE, like safe...... :rolleyes1

Still, your play on the word lavatory is :thumbsup2
I'm just going to rebut all of this by saying that before the post went up I had decided that the correct answer was 10, no matter who the contestant was.
Totally understand that, which is exactly the reason for my "lack of due diligence on the front end by the Rules Committee" comment!!! :sad2:
(And I bet if you were the first poster, you would have answered "10".)
You are probably correct. In my haste to try and answer first I would probably have made the same mistake the first two contestants made. However, after seeing that first was no longer an option, I knew I had time to be more thorough and aim for BEST! :woohoo:

I like BEST bester more than I like FIRST firster! :)
This is your best argument yet.
I just hate I didn't come up with it sooner.......but then Rosie WAS her usual slow self responding........... (although I'm sure you won't let me get away with that as an excuse.....) :rotfl2:
Is that what they said?
Buhzackly! You doubt me??? :rolleyes1

All this time and I don't think I knew your real name. HEY MOLLY! :goodvibes

Hey Brook:)! Yes, I do have a name other than 3 prettyprincesses! And it is Molly.:goodvibes Just think, we could be Brook & Molly, the Amazonian Sisters! We could charge people money to take pics with us! Not such a bad way to earn some dough for Disney, right?

Didn't you LOVE Tangled? It was so pretty! My girls were enthralled by the 3-D aspect but ya, it's pricey. Luckily I had my in-laws there to pay that time. Before you think I'm cheap, they offered to pay. I probably didn't put up a very good fight though!

George Costanza walked around in oven mitts didn't he? :rotfl2:

If I get some time later, I'll have to look for that clip.

Ok Glenn, I have way too much time on my hands today so I googled that hand model clip. This HAS to be the lady you were talking about, she's very proud of her work, and that's putting it mildly:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Er59Pqynx_c

My favorite part was how she claims she doesn't actually 'use' her hands...no cooking, cleaning, opening windows, opening doors, opening cans, doing dishes, taking out the trash... Does she pay someone to do all these things for her then?:confused3

Though, 3prettyprincesses could be a very fun first name. :rotfl:

I like your idea to earn some extra Disney cash!!! ;)

I wouldn't find my in-laws either if they wanted to pay, not for one second! It was a really great flick, we've often thought about going again even though we dropped so much cash the first time. It will be bought on DVD for the house. I hope it becomes a true Disney classic and makes a nice appearance in the parks as time goes on.

::yes:: ITA! I just blew all of my 2011 and most of my 2012 points on a 1 bedroom for a Dec. trip - I tried to stick with a studio, but by golly - I WANT that kitchen! :thumbsup2

Well sure, you guys need your space....Leo takes up a lot of room. ;)

Now that I'm thinking about it, I wish the Studios had a little more "kitchen" to them. Not that we'd be cooking Thanksgiving dinner or anything. I guess they have a small fridge though, right?

HOW have I missed this one?! It looks so cool!

Um, I, er, we, ah...I dunno. :confused3

Wasn't it, though?! We really enjoyed it, too. :thumbsup2

I didn't have very high hopes for it, so low expectations certainly help!

Not trying to be picky (well, maybe I really am) but the "a" in laugh is not a long "a", unless you Keystoners pronounce the word LAFE, like safe...... :rolleyes1

Oh, you're right. (See, I can admit it....when it's true ;) )

I was just trying to describe that it was an "a" sound like in "laugh", not the "a" sound in "lava", which people could read since it was lava-tree. So, obviously I don't know if it's long, short, or medium-density.

Still, your play on the word lavatory is :thumbsup2

Okay, now we're getting somewhere!

Totally understand that, which is exactly the reason for my "lack of due diligence on the front end by the Rules Committee" comment!!! :sad2:

You are probably correct. In my haste to try and answer first I would probably have made the same mistake the first two contestants made. However, after seeing that first was no longer an option, I knew I had time to be more thorough and aim for BEST! :woohoo:

I like BEST bester more than I like FIRST firster! :)

So....other than that, how did you like the chapter? :rotfl2:

I just hate I didn't come up with it sooner.......but then Rosie WAS her usual slow self responding........... (although I'm sure you won't let me get away with that as an excuse.....) :rotfl2:

Nobody lets you get away with anything. I saw a new poster on your thread pile-on with their first post! :rotfl:

Buhzackly! You doubt me??? :rolleyes1

Well......

Don't forget about higher-elevation weather reports.

That's the one! Isn't it amazing? If it were a skit on Saturday Night Live, you'd say they were too "over the top". Nobody could be that pretentious.
omgblinky.gif

Good word play on the tree- the Lava Tree. :lmao: (and I know what you meant)

Oh, you're right. (See, I can admit it....when it's true ;) )
Rarely, but occasionally I guess....... And I can admit when I'm wrong, or at least I think I will be able to should the need ever arise..... ;)
Okay, now we're getting somewhere!
I can admit it......when it's true.....
So....other than that, how did you like the chapter? :rotfl2:
There was a CHAPTER????
Nobody lets you get away with anything. I saw a new poster on your thread pile-on with their first post! :rotfl:
I wouldn't laugh too soon. She's becoming a frequent visitor to your TR and I'm sure it is only a matter of time before she cuts loose on you too! :scared1:

It will be bought on DVD for the house. I hope it becomes a true Disney classic and makes a nice appearance in the parks as time goes on.

Agreed! We really did love it and will be buying that sucker right when it comes out.:thumbsup2

That's the one! Isn't it amazing? If it were a skit on Saturday Night Live, you'd say they were too "over the top". Nobody could be that pretentious.
omgblinky.gif

It's too ridiculous!:lmao: Completely over the top which would make it perfect fodder for SNL (and obviously Seinfeld!). Wasn't it a tad disturbing the way she kept stroking her hands like they were some kind of pet? Hello lady, they are your hands, not separate entities:sad2:. Don't you just love how she walked into that elevator, like a surgeon with her hands up in the air? Pretentious really isn't strong enough a word for her, how about vainglorious?

:
I wouldn't laugh too soon. She's becoming a frequent visitor to your TR and I'm sure it is only a matter of time before she cuts loose on you too! :scared1:

Well, that was a thinly veiled insult if ever I heard one:headache:! I don't suppose it's directed my way Marv? Glenn seems very civil, I'm not worried about cutting loose on him.:thumbsup2 You on the other hand:sad2:, hang on, I have to go pop over to your TR for second...:rolleyes1

I bet she's just a barrel of laughs to be around....

:rotfl2: I hadn't put that together.

Thanks for inventing those.

Okay, I finally googled booty pants. Um, yeah - those are actually NOT my pants. I don't know if they can even be legally called pants. Please tell me you've never seen anyone actually wearing these in public!

LOVED our time spent at Innoventions this year. We'd never spent much time there before. Then in 09 we got stuck in there for about an hour because of rain. I was surprised at how much there was to see and do, so we vowed to come back on our next trip and check out the other side. We actually ended up visiting both sides this time. That runtime game is really cool. I still have ours that we sent home by email. Although, I wonder if it still works? I'll have to check it out.

Though, 3prettyprincesses could be a very fun first name. :rotfl:

Kinda long though. Maybe we'd shorten it to "threep".

Good word play on the tree- the Lava Tree. :lmao: (and I know what you meant)

That's good, but it sounds like I got myself into long "a"/short "a" trouble for nothing.

And I can admit when I'm wrong, or at least I think I will be able to should the need ever arise..... ;)

I like the clarification at the end of there. :thumbsup2

There was a CHAPTER????

Yeah, that's what I thought. :sad2:

I wouldn't laugh too soon. She's becoming a frequent visitor to your TR and I'm sure it is only a matter of time before she cuts loose on you too! :scared1:

Probably, but I don't :stir: quite as much as you do.

I'll give you a :welcome: but I suspect you're someone trying to get their post count up. If I'm wrong, come back and have a chat.

It's too ridiculous!:lmao: Completely over the top which would make it perfect fodder for SNL (and obviously Seinfeld!). That's so funny -- in my earlier post I used the exact words "separate entities" and then edited it out. But that's exactly what I was thinking...that she was looking at them as if they weren't part of her body. Weird.

I bet she's just a barrel of laughs to be around....

Yeah, can you imagine? It wouldn't take too long before I went :crazy2:

Okay, I finally googled booty pants. Um, yeah - those are actually NOT my pants. I don't know if they can even be legally called pants. Please tell me you've never seen anyone actually wearing these in public!

:rotfl2: So you're not taking credit now huh?

No, I can't say that I've seen them.

LOVED our time spent at Innoventions this year. We'd never spent much time there before. Then in 09 we got stuck in there for about an hour because of rain. Yeah, it's a good thing to do during a rainstorm except for the fact that a million people descend on the place. If you're lucky enough to get a computer screen or whatever hands-on thing there is at a particular exhibit, you're good to go.

I'm curious to know how well your Runtime game works from home.

That's so funny -- in my earlier post I used the exact words "separate entities" and then edited it out. But that's exactly what I was thinking...that she was looking at them as if they weren't part of her body. Weird.

Serioulsy? Great minds Glenn, great minds.:thumbsup2 I showed that clip to DH and he actually looked like this::eek: He thought it was a joke! I believe his question to me was 'what is wrong with her?'

From now on, no one is allowed to touch my hands. Judy will have to go ahead of me, shaking people's hands for me and intercepting anything that could potentially damage my cuticles. Actually, that reminds me....not too long ago I saw a Youtube video of a real hand model being interviewed. It was hilarious, at the way she took herself so seriously and kind of looked down her nose :snooty: at the interviewer, especially when the interviewer tried to make a hand-pose.

Yup hand model lady is a freak. She says she does not do many things, no opening doors etc but I just have to wonder....

Does she have someone follow her into the bathroom to .... you know..... finish the paperwork so to speak. :rotfl2:

Hey, Glenn makes up enough Post Post Facto rules on his own! It is how the Rules Committee covers up their lack of due diligence when coming up with the wrong answer on the front end of the Judy-do contest installments.... :sad2:Prime example of Sore Looser syndrome
Well there's a good argument, since they ALL are computer created images when he posts them!
Okay, so if I had been the first to say 10, I'm betting you would have said that the one in the FP picture was actually crummy photography and since the Judy is blurred, it doesn't really count and the answer in 9..... :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:If he keeps it up he ma really believe it !!!!:rolleyes1:lmao:

Okay, Rosie came up with 10. That should tell you right there that 10 can't possibly be the correct answer!!! :lmao:And the insults continue :rotfl2:
Sad when the Rules Committee loses ALL credibility....... :sad2: The woman lap dances pigs for goodness sake!!!Hey I ressemble that remark;):lmao:
I bet you think that Chip and Dale you met at Disney are real too, don't you??? :rolleyes1 Besides, you have to be able to spell before you can hand down legal and binding judgements...... :rotfl:I thoughtm it was Dan who couldn't spell!!;):lmao:

I appreciate you both agreeing with me that my "Judy parts" are just as valid as every other image in this game! :thumbsup2 I think the Rules Committee is just upset that I was more thorough in my research than they were. Some of the members must be moonlighting as NCAA Sanctions Committee members too...... :rotfl2:Lord he is on a roll!!!:rotfl2:

There is a good explanation for this. That is the thumb that Glenn, uh I mean the Rules Committee ;) sucks on while trying to decide how to get out of their embarrassment that Marv was better at examining the contest pictures than they were......AGAIN! :sad2:
I can't wait until the next DISmeet where Rosie blabs Judy's new role to her. Can you say :scared1:  ! :lmao:

I will come wearing Duct tape at least until the food is served :lmao:

I appreciate your offer, but I think I have to paraphrase Frodo here.

"You must understand, the Judy-do game is my burden. It will destroy you, Sam. Er, Dan."
great movie you are right i dont want the burden

I know Glenn said it but aren't all the pictures of Judy using numbers since they are digital? So there is only 1 true Judy. I guess we are just looking for Judys once removed? :rotfl2:
well if that is the case, i guess i win the grand daddy of all prizes, as i saw the famous judy 2 times on that trip live and in person.

that should be like a gagillion points there.

I bet you think that Chip and Dale you met at Disney are real too, don't you??? :rolleyes1 Besides, you have to be able to spell before you can hand down legal and binding judgements...... :rotfl:
well of course they are.:sad2:

what do you think there are people actually inside them playing characters.

i dont think so.
