Hi again,

We are a group of 14 (4 families - 8 adults 6 kids) going to WDW and on the Dream for my parents 40th. My dad wants to do a waterpark during the trip. We originally thought TL at WDW. However, I am now thinking maybe Atlantis. I am a bit unsure of the cost at Atlantis.

Has anyone been to both and can offer a comparison?

Thanks, Tonya

To do the Atlantis waterparks as a DCL excursion costs $160 per adult and $110 for children 10 and under. That includes lunch. You could book rooms at Atlantis or the Comfort Suites next door, but at 4 people max per room you'll need 4 rooms so it would still be quite pricey. My vote would be for Typhoon Lagoon or even the new SeaWorld Aquatica park.

To me Atlantis is so much more than a waterpark and really hard to compare to a water park. It has its own beauty and charm like nothing I have seen in my 20+ years traveling. The dig, the architecture, the pools, the beach, they have it all. So if you are really just looking for water park, go with TL but if you can afford a day in paradise, go to Atlantis. Booking a room at comfort suites is much cheaper. That is the route we go. You can do a search for CS or Comfort suites and get much info on that.
