[CR Resort Fan 4 Life]

Stupid question but what's the rate on the resort mugs right now? It used to be $12.99 but I read somewhere that it's now $13.99. I haven't bought any in awhile so I'd like to know in advance of our trip Dec 2-5. Thanks.

I read on Allearsnet that the price was now $13.99 so I would assume that's what they cost now.

I go to Disney every year in September. We were at the Beach Club pool and there was a person (waitress) walking around taking drink orders etc. I overheard her explaining to a guest that if they purchase the mugs then they can be reused forever. After the waitress person walked away I immediatly stopped her for clarification. She said that there was a recently undisclosed policy of being able to reuse the mug year after year. I was delighted to hear this since it was coming from a Disney employee. If the Disney employee was incorrect then she was misleading folks that she was selling the drinks

I also feel that if an employee tells you misinformation you should still be able to do whatever they tricked you into thinking. That is Disney's fault for not properly training their employees.

I was wondering if since they changed to christmas do they have christmas mugs or are they the same mugs as this summer?

The refillable mug designs don't change that often and they aren't seasonal. The mugs for sale now and next month should continue to be the red Celebrate mugs used for the last two years.

The only thing that may change soon (I haven't been keeping up with the refillable mug thread) is that we may see a "Let the Memories Begin" mug design soon if not early 2011.

I'm still crossing my fingers that with so many mugs being given away due to free dining, Disney will use up all those OLD mugs and will release the new design before we get there mid-December. A girl can hope...........

Well just as an update on using the forever mugs. We have been at CBR since Sat and have been using the daily. We have 5 in our group. Bo problem using and we have seen MANY others with the forever cups using them as well. They are SO much nicer and made in the usa as well! We have had some ask where we got them since they liked them. Also we ran into a few people happy to see them recalling the forever notice in their rooms years ago and were glad to see it worked. Just for INFORMation. Will be using until sat!

Unfortunatly no. The mug is only good for the trip to which is was purchased for. Not even sure if you were to do a split stay (2 resorts in one trip) that it officially would be useable for both.

read the stickey. most people, including disney, think it is fine to use one mug for more than one resort on onetrip.
once we stayed at 4 dif. resorts. all Disney... you mean I should buy 4 mugs for myselg and 4 for hubby for one sinlge trip, when I am going only to disney and spending my money there? nonsense nutz crazy ridiculous.

I purchase a mug for my disney vacation, and I use it for my disney vacation.

This is why I said that I wasn't sure if it was useable for muti resorts in 1 vacation. But as far as trips that are months apart the answer is no it is not reuseable.

Actually, you should read the mug. It says right on the mug it is only good for the trip you bought it.

Sorry, it's not good for subsequent trips even if they are in the same year.

This is what I wished the resorts would do! Have 3 sets of mugs from my last 4 visits. All are different but would be nice to be able to reuse for a smaller fee. More environmentally friendly too!
