Has anyone had this room? We know we want cat 5b as far forward as forward, but not connecting rooms. We got the room we think we want, but there are no stateroom reports. opinions?

While no reviews for 7520, there are reviews for 7522 and 7518, the two rooms to either side of it. I'd start there for a general idea.

FWIW, we stayed in 7514, and while it was an oceanview, not verandah room, we really liked the room and it was very convenient to the forward elevators.

Look for reports for the rooms on either side of you. Our room didn't have a report either (7534) but the room right next door did (several reviews in fact). Our room was just like that review and was just as amazing. Then I got to write the review for our room. :)

We stayed in 7505 for a northern Baltic this summer. Absolutely Loved It! And 7505 is a connecting room. We never heard the other room at all. I think this area of the ship is a wonderful little hidden gem. So quiet. The elevators always came quickly. Just loved it there. Will be staying there again next summer

We just got back from 7 Magic-al days in 7512 nearby. That tip of the hallway is SO QUIET. You'll love it. Window may get ocean spray from the ship's bow. If you're only adults, it's awesome because being forward on the ship: you're right at the Quiet Cove pool and the spa just 2 floors up. We have 2 little boys, so we did a lot of full-length walks down the ship to the Mickey Pool, soda station, and Topsiders... it wasn't a bad walk at all, but next time I'll book an aft room.

Could you please help me find those reviews? I did a search for those room numbers - but am having a little trouble finding them. Thanks so much in advance!

I just stayed in that room for the Oct 30 western cruise. It's a verandah room and it's very close to the elevator but not noisy. It is not a connecting room. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions!!

Checking the FAQ to see if there's a similar room report.
I'm sorry...there aren't any. I thought there was at least one report for each category.

Thanks! I know the location is good, based on reports of surrounding rooms. Questions I guess I have are:
Is there a steamer trunk (and the size)?
How was the general room condition?
Any sewer-type smells?
ANy likes/dislikes about the room?
Thanks!
