Hello,

I am hoping that recent GG visitors can tell me what the "fish of the day" was when they dined.

Thanks!!

Can't remember what the latest was (we were there in October), but it was aweful! Since they did away with the catfish and went with the "sustainable fish of the day", it is not so great.......with that said, DD 11 loves Chip and Dale, so it is a must do still.

we were just there in Sept, it was either tilapia or mahi mahi. ( I couldnt eat it..... it is breaded in a parmesan crust.) My family all liked it.

We were there last week (11/14 - 11/20) We ate at Garden Grill and the fish was Mahi Mahi..Hope that helps.

Sad to hear they've gotten rid of the catfish--it was delicious! We haven't eaten here since 2009 (skipped it in our 2010 trip) and were considering it for our 2011 trip, but I think we will pass. Glad for the little updates I find on the boards! :thumbsup2

Thanks, I hope they have Mahi Mahi next week. I love Mahi Mahi but I don't like catfisth.:goodvibes

We ate at Garden Grill in March and July of this year, and it was mahi mahi with a parmesan coating both times. It was one of my favorite parts of the meal, and I liked it so much better than the catfish. Hope you enjoy it! :wizard:

I just booked the Garden Grill today for our May trip after skipping it for the past two trips. I sure hope the fish is decent because my husband is going to be disappointed that the catfish is gone.

oh shoot, they got rid of that catfish? that's what it was when we were there in August 2009. It was suprisingly good. I hope it'll still be good when I go this January. It probably will though.

mahi mahi with the crust. the salmon appears to be downstairs at the Sunshine season.

This may be a silly question, but how is Mahi-Mahi is sustainable fish? All catfish is farm raised, so I would think that would be a more sustainable fish than Mahi-Mahi. But maybe they have started raising dolphin fish. I might have to move to Hawaii and become a Mahi-Mahi farmer now. I guess I am just being critical, because I had my heart set on the catfish. Oh well....

Thanks for all the replys,
