Brown Derby Fantasmic Pckge Minimum spending ammt?

I have booked the Brown Derby Fantasmic Pckge for January this coming 2011, and I am trying to create a food budget. I know currently is ala carte, and we arn't trying to cheat the system or anything but I am wondering if there is a minimum spending ammt per person for the package? Thanks!

It's a fixed price meal for the Fantasmic dining package. You'll pay the same amount no matter what you order.

Did you have to give a credit card number to hold the ADR? If not then you have a regular ADR, not a Fantasmic package. With a regular ADR you can order whatever you want and only pay for what you order, but you won't get the priority seating at Fantasmic.

Ok thanks, I did give a CC and booked it as the fantasmic pckge. I was pretty sure that it was ala carte but was assuming about $125 for the two of us, so it looks like I was budgeting well.

BTW does anyone know for the $50-$58 is that app,entree and dessert, or a different combination?

According to Allears.net (and a couple of other sites), the Fantasmic package has been a la carte at Hollywood Brown Derby for a while. Since the wdwinfo has the wrong menus (the menu is now the same for both lunch and dinner), I think it is more likely to be wrong than the other sites.

Mama Melrose $32.99 adult/$11.99 child (3-9) not including admission, tax, and gratuity -- Dinner package is price fixe: appetizer, dinner, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage.

Hollywood & Vine $26.99 adult/$13.99 child (3-9) not including admission, tax, and gratuity (no characters). All you care to eat buffet. Choose from a number of selections including; oven-roasted Prime Rib, Citrus Baked Chicken, Pan-seared Salmon, and Stir-Fry Noodles with Sesame. Also includes fresh salads and build your own ice cream/dessert bar. Adult beverages NOT included. Child's meal includes beverage.

All packages include a special pass for seating at that night's Fantasmic! and dinner at the restaurant chosen.

App, Entree, Dessert and Tip

Thats a good deal....Is there a special menu....What is it ????

TheMama Melrose Fantasmic! dining package does not include tip. The tip should be calculated on the value of what you order, not the cost of the package. At Mama Melrose, you can order any appetizer, any entree and any dessert on the menu. There's no special Fantasmic! menu. Depending on what you order, the value of your meal could be more than the cost of the package, so keep that in mind when budgeting your meals. I think the package is around $33 or $35. When we did the MM F! package, our meals were valued at about $40/person and we tipped accordingly.

Appy, Entree, Dessert and a non-alcoholic/special Drink, if my black Friday brain is working. You order off the regular menu.

All this means is that it's not longer a special menu for BD like it used to be. Now you order the courses off the regular menu but it's still a fixed price meal.

Ate there for the F! Package in April 2010. Since we were OOP, they gave us a menu to order from. App, dinner, dessert. Alcohol was not included- but the menu was in the package.

It was delicious and the server was fabulous. However, we did order a few things a la carte so we paid a little extra, but it was worth it.

If you drink, get the wine flight. really great pairings.

I don't know if it is different for the DDP but for me it was all included.

no tip....still a great deal.....
