Back to Poly from Flying Fish??

We are planning on having dinner at the Flying Fish one night after spending some time in DHS. Our ressie is at 7:05pm. DHS closes at 7pm that evening. What would be the easiest way to get back to the Poly that night? We will have a car, so should we just drive to DHS, then drive to Boardwalk for dinner? Will boats/buses be running to DHS after dinner since the park closes at 7? I would prefer not to drive at all if possible!!

After dinner, walk into Epcot through the International Gateway. Head to the front of the park and take the monorail to the TTC. Then you can walk the rest of the way to the Polynesian.

sorry, I'm making the assumption you will have hoppers....

if not, the boat the studios will run for an hour or so after park closing, not enough time for dinner.

There is a lot for guests visiting the boardwalk. You could park there, go to Studios, and have your car nearby after dinner. Some will argue that you shouldn't park at Boardwalk until you are ready to dine there. Personally, if you valet park, or use the lot for Boardwalk-not the hotel lot, I don't think it's a big deal.

Yes, we will have hoppers. How far is the walk to Epcot from Boardwalk? I was thinking of parking at Boardwalk that morning too, but wasn't sure how that would work. I didn't know that there was boardwalk parking separate from the resort parking. I wouldn't feel so bad parking there! Thanks!

I'd just take the bus from Boardwalk to MK and then the boat across to the Poly. The walk from Flying Fish to Epcot isn't bad, but that entrance is between England and France on the back part of the World Showcase, so from there you still have to walk all the way through Epcot and out to the bus stops or monorail station.

Thanks for the suggestion! Sounds like a great way to avoid taking the car!! Since MK is open late I won't have to worry about buses not running!!

Every one has an opinion about distances, but I don't think it's a big deal. Assuming you are all healthy? It should take 15 minutes assuming a leisurely stroll.
Once you get off the monorail at TTC, it's another nice walk to the Polynesian 5-10 minutes tops.

All of the distance is a nice walk through park/resort area. It may take 15 minutes but it will fly by.

I love FF and the Polynesian. Enjoy!!!

Take a cab you will be back at the poly in 10 minutes cost about $10. Your staying at the poly I am assuming you can afford a cab. Honestly its the easiest way to go resort to resort.

we always walk thru the international gateway, into Epcot, to the front gate and out, onto the monorail. That way we get to enjoy one of the fab desserts at FF without guilt--;););). We are always thinking of ways to justify dessert!

Yes, walking may be the way to go. I have been looking over the FF menu and it looks really good! Thanks for the input!!
