Where can I find a menu for Palo? We are doing a 4-night on the Dream end of Feb, and our friends cruising with us are insistent that we HAVE to eat here. We're coming up with creative ways to reserve so that I do NOT miss one of my dining rotations, or any of the shows. But as I researched more, I found that it's all Italian cuisine. I like pretty plain stuff, so not sure that this is even worth it for me to go to the trouble of trying to get ressies??? And there's only one day that will serve brunch, so the chances of getting brunch are going to be slim I would think.

We're first time cruisers ... should we skip it this time and wait until we rebook on board for the NEXT cruise (shhh ... don't tell DH I already have that plan in the works!) :lmao:

Thanks ... any info is greatly appreciated. :)

We're coming up with creative ways to reserve so that I do NOT miss one of my dining rotations, or any of the shows.

We're first time cruisers ... should we skip it this time and wait until we rebook on board for the NEXT cruise (shhh ... don't tell DH I already have that plan in the works!) :lmao:

Thanks ... any info is greatly appreciated. :)

Our first and only Disney cruise was a 4 night and we too wanted to dine in all three rotational restaurants. We booked an early Palo dinner on Pirate night as you repeat restaurants. There isn't a stage show that night, they show a movie and then have a later pirate party with fireworks at night. We had a lovely dinner and were out in plenty of time for the Pirates deck party.

The only downside, we were stuffed and didn't even want to look at the post fireworks buffet. :)

We also did brunch, which too was fantastic, although harder to get reservations for.

I booked the REAS to get the exact two Palo reservations I wanted since I knew being on West Coast time we wouldn't want to be waking up early to get to the port and try for craved #2 boarding to make Palo reservations onboard. However, you can't do that anymore.

If your friends really want to eat a Palo, go for pirate night dinner!

The above menu is subject to change on the Dream.

It took DH & I 8 cruises together to eat dinner at Palo. It's not something that we thought of as a 'must do'. While the food was good, not sure we'll have dinner there again or not.
It took us 6 cruises together to have brunch and we both preferred that over dinner. Don't give up hope that you won't be able to book brunch on your cruise. If you are unable to book online you can check onboard once you board to see if there are any openings since not all ressies are released prior to sailing.

Thank you Thank you Thank you ... everyone! :)

The beef tenderloin is actually one of the only things I would consider ordering, so we might tell our friends to go to Palo for dinner without us (we'll take their DD to the dining room with us), and we'll still try for the brunch. I think DH will like that better anyway. ;)

Do we know if there will definitely be a Pirate night on the Dream? Hope so !

My husband said the beef tenderloin with the gorganzola sauce was fantastic. I had the lobster ravioli and it was to die for!!! And don't miss the chocolate souffle!

Please keep in mind that the menu for Palo on the Dream may be different than the menu for Palo on the Magic/Wonder. We've already seen differences in what is being offered or not being offered between the 2 classes of ships - such as the Dream not having the Rasul room in the spa.
It's going to be interesting when the first cruisers come back and report what is the same and what is different.
