Maybe it has always been like this and the elders on these boards can educate me on this:thumbsup2

Why are the dates for the Fantasy only through August of 2012? I was hoping to book a holiday cruise to the Eastern Caribbean on the new ship. I also want to go Concierge and need plenty of time to pay it off:rotfl:

Feedback is welcome!

Thx!

:rotfl: I believe they like to be referred to as veterans :lmao:

If I understand correctly the itineraries for the magic and the wonder have not been confirmed. All the late 2012 dates will be released together.
I'm sure someone will correct me if I didnt get that quite right

That's the way I understand it. They are still negotiating with the various ports. So many ships out there now that they are all jockeying for position.

Thanks so much for the info!! And I will be sure to refer to the "elders"as veterans in the future!!:thumbsup2

The cynic in me says they are just trying to extend the hype and keep prices high. We suspect that there will be a noticeable price drop for the fall cruises on the Fantasy once those dates are released and DCL might be trying to prevent folks from jumping ship to the cheaper dates. We can be pretty certain the Fantasy will continue the Eastern/Western itineraries, as folks have found dates on the cruise port schedules saying she will be there (see the "Found some information on 2010 itineraries thread), so obviously Port negotiation is complete, and ther ereally is no other reason to hold back the Fantasy dates (Or for that matter the Dream). I do agree the Magic and Wonder might be wildcards and there is a lot of speculation (especially with the Magic) about different departure ports but my money is on that she will stay in Europe for the summers.
