For those who have booked dummy date onboard....

As suggested by the Onboard Sales Manager, I have booked a dummy date (Nov 26, 2011) in order to save the discount and onboard credit for Fantasy.

Do I have to call tomorrow to change my reservation(s), or I can do it directly at disneycruise.com?

It is possible to change it online. You just open your reservation and there is an option to modify your reservation (and change your said date). I moved my dummy date online for my 2011 cruise, but it was several weeks after the booking period started. I'm not sure if you will have trouble doing this tomorrow with all of the people logged in pricing out cruises.

IIRC from last year, people were doing it online without too many problems.

Thank you. So I guess once I edit the date, it automatically calculates my 10% off, and display the discounted price? My requests (on file), and onboard credits remains the same?

That would be great since I do not have to spend hours to call Disney Cruise Line tomorrow.

I redid my dummy date last year online. But what I did for my own piece of mine was plan out the same date and cabin type without having my reservation # in to see what everyone else would pay. I then retrieved my reservation and changed the dates and cabin and see what it totaled out to. If it wasn't lower then I wouldn't confirm the change. It did come out 10% lower on the per person price the taxes were the same cause the taxes are based upon the original price.

Thanks. I just try modifying my ressie online....yes, it kept 10% off ($70XX web price vs the $63XX). But it doesn't allow me to choose room and switch dining time. It kept my original settings (GTY, second seating) as being assigned by the onboard manager.

I guess I have to call....

I'm having the same problem, so now I'm on hold. I'm going to keep trying online while I'm on hold.

For now I accepted the changes online (Fantasy, GTY, second seating) just in case the price will go up. Hoping to call them to select a stateroom and change to 1st seating
